Where did you go?
Exploring today
It's called Horse Pasture Rd which goes right beside Lake Jocasee which is in Pickens, South Carolina. Popular off road trail for everyone in the upstate. Its a very easy trail, never really have to come out of 2wd but has some pretty great views. The picture of just the lookout is at Jump Off Rock. And yes you can jump directly into lake jocasee from there, pretty cool!awesome location where is that
MA BellWhere did you go?

Hi BK, can you drive it all the way south from highway 178 down to Cleo Chapman highway? Been thinking about making a trip up to Gorges State Park in NC and Horse Pasture might be another nice ride while in the general area. It's called Horse Pasture Rd which goes right beside Lake Jocasee which is in Pickens, South Carolina.

Yes I believe you can. Take shooting tree ridge rd off of horse pasture rd, that should take you down to cleo chapman hwy. Shooting tree ridge is pretty cool too, there's a few water crossing on your way down. Best of luckHi BK, can you drive it all the way south from highway 178 down to Cleo Chapman highway?
