I wish I had taken a picture but I was in a hurry due to incoming rain.

I hauled 15 80# bags of Quickcrete in the cargo area of my JLUR. Needless to say it was squatting a little. It handled the load a lot better than I thought it would being lifted on 37's.

YJ is back from the shop where she got: new shoes (the set that was on there was from 2004), oil change (last one was in 2012), tune up and my carbs cleaned. They said I had trash in the carburetor and this was the reason my Jeep kept turning off when I came to a hard stop. Weather is supposed to clear on Friday and remain nice all next week. I plan on keeping the YJ out and enjoying the heck out of it. Last weekend I went over the 129,000 mile mark.

Update: took the YJ to our local hospital where I walked 10,000 steps on the sidewalks. After my walk I went for a short drive to the mountains. The YJ has not performed this well in years. I had her up to 50 mph in 3rd gear. Best thousand dollars I’ve spent in a while.

I did that with about a 1000 lbs of marble chips. I was a little shocked when I noticed that I could see over the hard top. It handled it well enough, but the steering and brakes were a bit squishy. Next time, I'm getting a trailer. (No lift, stock 33's)
