Finally got around to making a ladder for my toddler to climb into my Jeep. He loves it!

Installed the EVO JL hinged carrier after I started getting some creaks and rattles from the stock one.

I don't know if I got one that has a manufacturing defect, but I'll be damned if I couldn't get it to not warp the right side of my gate out, leaving a huge gap. I adjusted the hinges, bolts, and moved the gate around and half-dozen times, and just could not get anything to align properly. I ended up adding quarter-inch thick washers between the gate and the spacers it comes with and it made everything align nicely. It opens and closes smoothly, too.

Xprite 4" (JK) Fog lights. They work on my 2018 JL Sport - bought the standard set for $44.
You're way over the character-limit for a Jersey plate.

Managed to find time for the @ROCK HARD 4X4 muffler skid. Solid & hefty... I used a floor jack to hold it in place.
I don't mind the stenciled logo here... Small, and not gaudy or blingy.

Nice! Always hated that big silver boat anchor hanging off the back end. Ended up getting rid of that muffler all together (now has the first Borla Climber exhaust in the Touring version for the 2.0T :like: )

Finally tagged my dip stick...

And yes it’s double sided. So they’ve been informed twice.

They can’t mess that up right?

Idea from another member in here. Can’t remember who. Amazon blue light special.

Yours looks good to me. Did you deal with the same issue? Adding the washers aligned the gate and body lines perfectly, so I don't know if their included spacers are too short or the holes for the hinges that attach to the tub were drilled a little too far forward.

I like it but I bet they still put 6 in and say “oh man! I wish I would have seen this on the fill cap instead!”

Funny!

thanks... no issues, I’m not sure what’s up with yours, like you said, could’ve been oblong hole. I did use all the shims on the bottom hinge to the body as instructed. At first I thought it was going to be to much but it came out good. I didn’t have any trouble with it front to back. If you could show me with picture?

I emailed evo about the threaded holes to the right of the tire.

They said “ at this time they have no purpose” lol. I did the leg work ( in and out of ace hardware a dozen times) and figured out the size. It’s 8x1.25. What threw me was the bolt only went in about 3 or 4 turns and stopped. Finally determined that it’s either some kind of pinch but , or lock nut, or to much powder coat. When I used a wrench it went in all the way.......

Hey. So with the XRC Gen 2 rear bumper, there is a steel plate in the driver corner with some threaded bolts on it. If you get the lod bracket and remove the two upper left bolts of the steel plate, you can line the lod bracket up into the threaded back of the xrc bumper and thread that bolt you just removed into the lod bracket. You may have to grind the lod bracket in the corner to make room for the other xrc bumper bolt you removed. I removed just enough for the second bolt to just clear the lod bracket and then put a washer and nit to hold it to the lod bracket. The lod bracket fits so tight that there’s no way it’s going to wiggle or rattle off the xrc bumper. Then attach the bumper to the frame and the lod plate will snug right up to the body of the Jeep. If that one bolt wasn’t lined up just right on the lod bracket it would hav been a pain to fabricate a bracket to that angle to make it work.

Awesome thank you. Also, if you want the plugs for the rear back up sensors. Contact smitty built. They will send them out to you. I had the same issue. They weren't included in the box.

Thats what I’m guessing HAHA
I was afraid of that too, so I put it here. Not that anyone else is going to be doing my oil changes now that freebies are done. Also it’s for me , since I have same engine in my ram work truck which takes 6 quarts. Why did they do this......

May I ask who's license relocation bracket/light you are using? Looks better than most of the lights....
