Stick out about 4” from the edge of the rock rails. Kids and wife use them as steps just fine.

Changed out the antenna for a 50 cal by Ronin Factory. Love the look and the reception seems fine in Nashville. I only listen to XM so really went for the look. Small changes coming: grab handles, fuel door, and cargo tray... The calm before the storm. Would like to tint the windows and put some 3M paint protection on. Most likely a 2” lift with rims and tires... Anyone have any 2nd job opportunities?!?

I ran a phone charging cable into the center cubby so I wouldn’t see the cable.

Can I ask where you plugged it in, do you have a pic on that end?

Not really. Hardest part is squeezing under the Jeep to get a good angle at the bolts. They’re held in there a little firmly so takes some pressure to get them out. I balanced each slider on a car washing bucket until I got 2 bolts in to hold it in place while I tightened it up. Took about an hour or so total with a few breaks to warm up my fingers.

I plugged it in to the USB port in the center cubby. You have to drill a hole in the front of the cubby, below the center console so it’s still hidden. Here’s the hole location I made.
