Can the JL rest it's hood against the windshield still? I haven't had to get that deep under my hood yet, but I always enjoyed that "feature" on my TJ whenever I had to be wrenching under there. I don't immediately see a reason I can't do this with my JL, with that in mind can these struts be quickly removed/disabled so the hood can be fully opened?
You can't pull the hood back any farther than the struts extend, but removing them isn't difficult. You just have to pull them out from either connection point gently. It's just as easy as the install.

I ordered some spline lugs, cai filter, and Rubicon shocks/springs from Rubitrux so I can put my 35’s back on.

Will do thanks.
Speak to dan and tell him Mark told you to call. Very honest and straightforward. I told him I advised you from forum. Never overpriced

Letters to Santa didn’t get me a winch - Catalog clippings left around at Father’s Day were ignored - so took it to new level

Had a Hawse Fairlead powder coated red, got the Jeep steel winch plate and installed this morning.

Took this picture and taped to every TV in the house. This doesn’t work I staple to their foreheads when they’re asleep

Well i came to a bunch of Amazon boxes yesterday......so even with torn ribs I got to work......my neighbor/battle buddy came to rescue at the end. Either way......picture time.

More function and turbo sounds. Now the turbo can exhale.......its going to be an MPG monster around town. Was getting close to 30mpgs on my 12 mile trip to get Friday night pizza

Were they able to wrap your black hardtop? Or you had a painted hardtop?
I think you’re asking me? With the vinyl wrap? They wrapped my black hardtop. Not painted. I’m pleased with it!

The new Redrock bumper from Extreme Terrain came today via UPS freight. Only weighs 70lbs which is light compared to others on the market. I modified the stock Sahara fog lights to fit. Also got the Bushwacker hood protector mounted today. Now I'm thinking about getting an inexpensive winch. https://www.extremeterrain.com/redr...er-w-led-fog-lights-winch-mount-2018-jl.html#

I was looking at that same bumper...glad to hear others like it too. How was install? And are you happy with it?

I tried to install my barricade slider steps and broke the body bolt. Grrrr, so annoyed! Hoping for mercy from the local dealer for what I consider a factory issue (how much loctite does one bolt need?) sending them back (sadly) and looking for steps that attach a different way.

You chose the right beer too! I know those tailgate tables can be found on eBay and amazon; do you like it? Does it rattle a lot and can it hold a fair amount a of weight (coleman grill)?

I bought the china knock off Jeep tailgate table on Amazon for $78. Overall quality is damn good, everything it tight and no rattling.

I can post up a link later.

BTW, I'm originally from Maine......so my love for Maine is still strong.

You can get them from either amazon or redline tuning itself.

I just install my shade as well and I noticed if you flip the front t-bungies so the cord is on the top and the t-bar is on the bottom you get less wind noise and it doesn't flap around as much on the highway.
