Sweet dude! I’m gonna go with AAL fender light kit, I love that clean look it gives the fenders and also keeps the trademark look of the jl. Also doing artec inner fender since I already have the artec inners in the rear. How was the front artecs to install?
Its not to bad, I have a rivnut gun, but I didn't have the right size so ended up using a couple screws and reused some of the plastic push pins. There is a video on YouTube that is helpful.

2 more bolts and the window trim comes off. Your Jeep looks great
I agree, but sometimes I like to put the soft top back up if the sun is too much or if rain. Is that still possible with the trim on? If so, maybe I’ll do that

Day 34

In an earlier mod I wanted to use my wireless charger with my ProClip mount but phone wouldn't stay on it. Doesn't surprise me. I have a Note 8. So I decided to move this charger to a horizontal location. Best idea I could come up with was to make a wooden piece that would sit on top of dash and hook charger to it. This worked. Well today I installed my other larger ProClip mount. I had no idea it had a horizontal mounting pad on it. I figured iPads, etc would mount to the vertical plastic. Anyway this was perfect to put the charger on. Looks better.

I have Metalcloak 3.5" game changer lift with 38" tires, all 4 pucks on front and 2 on rear. I flexed the JL using 21" tall ramps I made. The front tires were barely touching fenders. SteerSmarts top mounted draglink touched the rubber cooling line but missed frame by 1/8". Rear tires were heavily pressing against fenders. I went from 2 pucks on rear to 4 pucks. Rear tires still rubbing. Rubber bump stops look awfully squashed. Rear tires were also heavily pressed against pinch seam.

So 2 things perplex me...

1. If I have all 4 pucks installed why would I have any rubbing. Are my tires too big? I figured people were running 40s with this lift. Not too many lifts taller. View attachment 185631

2. If the top mounted draglink is a bad idea because it limits up travel, we'll it wouldn't help me in the slightest to switch to bottom mount. Tires are already touching fender. I really need another puck up front and maybe 2 in the back.

The front round pucks are tilted because I didn't have bolt tight enough.

I’m on 3.5 “ of lift, with 37s and I had to go to artec inner fenders and cut my pinch seams. I filled seams with j b weld and hit it with color match Mopar touch up paint. Now all clear. I can imagine your not gonna be able to avoid this since you have even bigger tires.

For ours with 37s I run 3 pucks f/r and don’t have any rubbing. Don’t know when you ordered your steer smart drag link but they now specially mention MC and recommend for their 3.5 to go with the bottom mount DL vs the no drill top mount.

I’m ordering the AAL highline led fender for the front and will remove another puck. Might be something to look into

If you get a chance, could you post a few more pics of your sliders? I've not seen anyone else with them on the board yet and I'm very interested. Do they mount in the body bolts?

Let me know how it handles this weekend
Handled decent! Felt fairly mute at points and all the difficult trails we’re close due to snow where we were but worked it out enough to be happy. All about cost/benefit for us:rock:
