What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I finally got got my real bead-locks on, they balanced out with very little weight. I’m really impressed with these dirty life wheels. And, of course, Colby did her own inspection, she approves.....

Ok - I saw Colby and immediately knew it was your post. She’s famous! Lol. Those bead-locks look great also. It’s so funny how she is checking it out making sure she approves what you’re doing to her Jeep.

finished up the Steer smarts stuff. Heres a photo or two of the clearance with ~3" lift. (installing my JL specific Nexus 2.2 once the tie rod clamp comes in)

Has anyone seen any products out there to replace the factory fender vents? I was hoping to find something with an LED marker light/turn signal built in. Maybe something similar to the glow badge. Anything??

Hey Rob, were you having steering issues or is that just preventive maintenance?

My drag link was on its way out. Either way, even though I didn't have any strong problems per say, the steer smarts stuff made it drive much nicer.

Day 28

Installed the black portion of my vinyl hood graphic. I wanted more red than the standard Pixeldecal hood graphic so I special ordered this one. Red is my accent color for this build. Installed Steer Smarts top mount draglink, tie rod and track bar relocation bracket. Ordered their trackbar with poly bushings, but they're backordered until mid June. Installed Falcon 2.2 steering stabilizer. Installed hood protector with clearance lights.

You sure you aren’t thinking of FRS? GMRS is like Ham. It requires a license.

its like $70 something for several years. no test, just register and fill out the application. I don't know if its a watt requirement that is the break over between the base station and little handhelds for the "license"
