I saw one of your YJ's siblings on the Universal Studios tour (California). While I agree with you on the look, I measured the G Wagon doors and they are actually under an inch smaller than the JL’s. Proportionally it is fine. I don’t s why they put such small logos in Jurassic World. My YJ has bigger Jurassic Park logos.
Good stuff...good stuff!!Took it on my 1st trail ride....sort of lol
Looking around some country roads near Geneva/Lake Harney and found some neat roads.
Got to put it into 4H a lot and hit a bunch of dirt roads. Lots of fun. Lots of houses around though so I wouldn't do it again. I was just exploring.
Fun though!
add a beer tap and then you will be set, lolInstalled the Brawlee overhead light, the Outback tailgate table and cut in a switch bank for a few accessories. Now I just have to get it wired up...
I always put an extra set straps through the top to hold it in case something fails on the Harken. It looks solid but has too many points of failure for my comfort. Finally installed my Harken Hoister! Only took many hours, over several days, and a couple trips to the hardware store. And I’ll be honest it’s a little unnerving knowing it’s hanging above the Jeep. But I’m very pleased with the ease of operation and am looking forward to getting the soft top on.]
Does the keyhole line up correctly on the arm rest? Do you have a link on where to purchase it?Installed the new rubi-style center arm rest!
The bolts I just had lying around, they are a metric thread (about 50mm long), and the spacers are from flat screen TV mount kits. I never seem to be able to throw anything away so I end up with bits and pieces all over the place. You should be able to use some pipe, plastic or metal, that fits over the bolts, you be careful not to over tighten and crush the spacers.Love the longer bolt and the spacer for your led adaptor bracket. Where did you get them? Thanks
This looks great... but do you or anyone else know if there is a strut kit available for the JL yet that DOES NOT require drilling into the body or cutting trim? I’d be interested in that.Hi @sheram -
Team Tech Offroad is the brand. https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/hood-accessories/tto-strutkit-jljk-tto-hood-strut-kit
Very easy install and they really are a nice addition. I used this video as a guide to install.
