Replaced my Alien Sunshade with a JTops this past week. I ran an Alien sunshade on my JKR and loved it. But, there were just too many gaps around the sides for me, so I decided to try out the JTop and it's perfect! Let me say that Alien Products did refund me for the top, even though their policy states that once it's installed, no refunds. So, kudos to them...I really do appreciate that. I only ran it for a couple of days, so...

Also got around to installing my backup light into the bumper. The first picture is how I had it before...really didn't care for the look of it. So, I decided to install them into the bumper...came out pretty dang nice. Sooo much cleaner looking.

What kind of lights did you install? Did you have to cut the bumper? If so, can you give more details?

Here are the lights that I ordered: https://www.etrailer.com/Lights/Buyers_Products/3371492139.html

It was a little bit of work. I watched a video on youtube on how to remove the bumper. Once I removed the bumper, there are a few components that are inside the bumper that you need to remove. After that, I drilled the holes for the lights, bolted them in and put the bumper back together and reinstalled it. Then I tapped into my trailer hitch wiring to get to the reverse lights wiring. There is a thread about all of this:

I want to do the same with my Sting Gray. Did you buy an extra set of just remove these and drive around while getting done?
I had them removed and I've been driving around without them for a few days. It looks like i'm driving a stolen vehicle, and my airbag light is on, but other than that, it's been fine. haha

Installed hinge covers to protect from rock chips. Didn’t want them initially since they’re just plastic stick-ons, but I’ve gotten a few good chips in the rear hinges. Now that I have them, though, I think they add a lot to the look and break up the white. These are faux fiber, but I really do like them.

I also added fender welting between the rock rails and body to prevent rocks from getting stuck in there. Crazy what little rocks do to Jeeps.

Well today I tinted the driver and passage windows and added a sun strip across the front windshield. Also put on some pixie decal sticker and put the big black decal on my hood.

I love the black hood detail. Where did the decal come from?
