Installed a Heise HE-SR30 lightbar on zroadz cowl brackets. Does this look ok? Need a honest opinion. Looks overtly large to me. It’s actually resting on the plastic cowl. I won it in a raffle so it was free.

Oh and my Factor 55 Flatlink came in the mail on Friday, so I put that on too. And... after struggling with the protective sheath on the winch rope trying to get it past the fairlead, I’m trying a mod where I have flattened it out and put on a few zip ties to keep flat and hopefully keep it from sliding down the rope and getting all twisted as is passes through the fair lead.

That cover is just too big. I removed it myself. Its just a velcro closure. I put the sheath in my recovery bag in case I need it. I don't believe its needed except to protect the rope when the rope is attached to another vehicle/structure and rubbing against the other vehicle in some "rope damaging" way. But for most trips I have been on, Winch goes directly to a direct access point (bumper mount) where the rope/cable never is bound up against anything.

I think that is sort of why its loose on the rope, so you can position where its needed along the "pull" to protect from rope abrasion. By locking it to the "end" (granted with just a zip tie) you lose that flexibility.

This is just my uneducated assessment. Anyone, please tell me why I am crazy and need to put the sheath back on?

Rugged Ridge tube doors got here today.
I wasn't sure I would like the look but they are pretty sharp in person and I feel more comfortable with my 10 year old in the jeep than with no doors.

Great looking ride. What are you going to do for side mirrors?

Those look great! Are you still able to open the in-floor storage area with the drawers installed?
Yes, they are 15 inches deep, the platform under it is 14 inches wide so they sit up right at the hinge point by 3/4 inch thickness of platform.

Thanks so much for the help! How many P-Mags can you fit in the drawers? LOL

Since I went to the Trektop I no longer have a need for my backseat Alien Sunshade. Running it as a rear dust deflector... or something...

Well today I started installing my cool tech c b antenna bracket and my 3 ft. firestick Also installed my cobra 75 cb. Also packed my some of my safety gear and tow straps. Hoping to hit some spring mud at my buddy's farm this weekend. Also installed some grab handles. Still waiting on a few things. Got some sticker to put on but I got to wash the jeep and get some warmer weather.
Also took the freedom panels of and went for a cruise. Ah still need a few more warm days I had to have the heater cranked when I went for my drive. But it was nice ti feel the sun after a long winter.

Just ordered the JLTazer Mini. Mostly for the Light Show need. Not sure how much of the other features I will use at first. But I guess good to have if needed.
