Did you paint your hood vents? Looks fantastic!Put on my KC 6” Gravity lights. Just haven’t wired them up yet as the wiring harness was missing from my shipment :/
I'm definitely not getting younger and my back does bother me. I finally broke down and got a 2 post lift after every thread I read said "you'll never regret it". Greg Smith Equipment had an 8% off sale and threw in $200 worth of truck attachments. I had to use my engineering mind to put it together solo.or is this "What you did FOR your back"?
Looks Great.
Thanks! Yeah I took them out and Plasti dipped them. Came out a lot better than I thought.Did you paint your hood vents? Looks fantastic!
I found a bunch of grease or thick oil around the lower bolts on the front diff cover on my JL 10K miles the other day. Checked torque, took two fill turns to get them to torque specs.Took my rig in to dealership today for a clunking noise. It’s only in 4wd, when in 2wd nothing. So while diagnosing, they took off diff cover and oil looked really dark and dirty, and more metal shavings than they deemed normal, so warranty dude said change out the whole axle assembly. It will be here in 3-5 days. Even though it sucks being down, I’m pretty impressed how Jeep stepped up.
Do you get a Bloomin onion with that thing JK looks great and I’m sure it’s awesome for camping and tailgatesOutback tail gate table
What is the normal mileage for the diff oil change and when specific is early?Maybe want to change out diff oil a little early, this is a new axle for jl, so we’re in uncharted territory. .
Looks great, love the red seats! Do you have any pictures of the interior?JLUS added 35 RDGs and 17x9 HE901 no lift. I wasn’t sure about putting 35s on my JL Sahara with no lift but it worked. No rubbing at all during normal daily driving. Will get lift soon for off roading.
Looks awesome, love the wheels!Removed my Trektop back windows today for the first time.
California weather is finally getting warm enough!
This says 40,000 which seems too long to wait.I think 15000 is the first recommended service, at lest it used to be.

Yeah, maybe I’ll go longer between first and second, but I’m changing my rear diff at 15000, after seeing the front one. I wheel a lot, every weekend, that’s the only time front is used thanks to the fad. This says 40,000 which seems too long to wait.
Good call - I'm assuming those numbers are based on regular on-road driving, which is of course dumb to publish for a WranglerYeah, maybe I’ll go longer between first and second, but I’m changing my rear diff at 15000, after seeing the front one. Do you happen to know the codes they used?UPDATE: My LED fog "flicker issue" is gone:
When the dealership searched for computer codes for my VIN they found a LED fog light/headlight option as well as LED "exterior lights". These "sales codes" were added/programmed to my PCM. I drove the Jeep around and they said they saw no flicker. I drove tonight and NO flicker.
I was charged 1 hour of labor...no parts are necessary.
So for those of you who do not want to install any aftermarket anti-flicker device and would like your Jeep dealership to fix the problem (have their PCM-related work covered by warranty), have them search for the LED lights and LED exterior light sales code option installed on your PCM. This specifically worked with my Sport Wrangler JLU, as long as your VIN has the LED option, this re-program will work!
