Added my Molle bags. Everything is organized, looks great! Very happy and thanks to this forum for providing the links to them.

How did you attach those molle bags? I've found the stock tailgate "molle" slots are way too skinny and obstructed to be of any use. It is a ridiculously poor design. Anyone else have that issue?

I totally agree that it's a poor design. There are people who have gotten the straps through with effort but the problem I see with that is, it would be really hard to take them back off. I just used zip ties to make several small "rings", then threaded them through those. Works great, you can't see them and preserves my ability to easily attach and detach the bags.

If I'm out on the trails and we need the first aid kit, I want to be able to grab it and go.

There may better solutions but this works and was cheap and easy.

Added a Warn front bumper tube. About $50 cheaper than the JCR. My plan was to just get a winch-ready bumper with a bull bar but could never find one I liked that had the modular capability of the OEM that I already had... for a decent price. So looks like I’ll be piecing this one together. Next up will be a winch plate, then the debate on which winch to get.

So my state does not require a front tag, but my jeep came with a pre-drilled license plate holder (dealer trade from TX). I figured out this acrylic Jeep matte black tag fitted there perfectly and added some accents, especially since JL does not have "Jeep" above the grille.

Also put on a GearAmerica aluminum shackle receiver, really heavy duty and aggressive look!

Next job: install the Rigid back up lights!

Were you able to get them installed?

Also, I assume you're not getting them Rhino Coated before install?
Installed this evening but now it’s dark (and rainy) outside, so pics will have to wait until tomorrow.

Negative on the Rhino Coat as the textured powder coat was actually done really well.

I’ll have pictures and notes from my install tomorrow. I can tell you that whoever thought threading a nutplate through a frame rail with a welded on coat hangar was a good idea is definitely on my Crap List.

Lol well I’m sure it’s satisfying to know you’ll never have to do that again! Pics soon man when the weather is right! Thanks for the reply!

Finished watching them install my lift and new tires/wheels. I gave them a few pointers, I’m sure they would’ve been lost without assistance. (Sarcasm)

Not sure if you have the instructions for the install on this... anyway I have attached.

If your JL has an automatic tranny, you can use the grommet that is on the driver's side as an easy pass through for the cable.

.
Thank you! I will also change out the a/v unit screws to something less common as now i see how easy theft would be on the unit

What a great thread! Thanks to all that contribute. After a few weeks I finally made it to page 350. Almost half way,

With my jeeps arrival hopefully a month away I have a questions on wheels that keeps coming up in here. I plan on adding 35” nittos to my JLUR and some new fuel wheels. Y off road if will be minimal at best. Should I be concerned about paint chip on hinges and side of Jeep if the wheels protrude and in or two? Or better said, will I get paint chip?
