Not necessarily to my Jeep, but for my Jeep. Finally finished the cradle and lift for my top. It works great! A 3/4 in socket and a drill speeds the process up quite a bit. All in...I’ve spent less than $100. Even was able to position the lift so that my wife can park under it (just works better with the layout of our garage) and I can still get into the attic with the top on the lift. Finding the center of mass was the hardest part...a lot of forwards and backwards until it lifted level...

Wow, nice job. Looks like a block and tackle and some sort of hand winch?

Yes sir! Here are links to the main parts:

Everything else is just a couple 2x4s and a couple of eye bolts.

I also got some steel and made some Topsy style brackets for the back...They work, but they aren’t pretty...

When I took my front doors off, I noticed the door positioner seems like it could scratch the paint very easily with the slightest error. Since I bought a roll of 3m scotch guard film last week for the door sills, I figured I’d try protecting this area too. I cut a strip to cover the area that’s painted. I cut another piece in the shape of the positioner mount and put it on there. So I have 2 layers of the film between the paint and positioner mount. I don’t know if it will work, or how long it will last. I also don’t know if it will look crappy when I take the doors off. But it looks good now and in theory seems like it should help.
Here’s a link to what I bought:

Added the RC 2.5 Lift kit and also actual black lugs (NOT plastidipped).

I guess 2.5 inches makes a difference after all.:cwl:

NFAB tubular side steps, 2.5” RC lift, stock badge delete, added Mopar Satin Black grill, Fuel Maverick wheels in 20x9 with Nitto Terra Grappler 2 in 35x12.5 20, stubby antenna, 5% tint all around except for windshield, added Flag decal plus vinyl wrap for front fender cowl. I have the fifth wheel but am waiting on delivery of my Rough Country tailgate / spare tire relocation bracket to mount the tire up. Next up will be aftermarket front and rear bumpers later this year and perhaps intake / exhaust and some LED exterior lights integrated into bumpers. What an absolutely fun vehicle this is. My family loves it as do I, and that’s all that matters!! Thanks to everyone here for their inspiration.
