Got my elusive soft top window bag after 2+ months of waiting! Since several folks on here started getting theirs this week, I stopped in the dealership to check on mine. Low and behold he said I think one came in today, Went to the back and reappeared with the unicorn. Not sure if I should post the pics of me cuddling with it or not :involve::cwl:

Took the hard top off for the first time and installed my Spiderweb sun shade. I'm so glad they were sold out of the red, the blue looks amazing on my Ocean Blue JLUR! Oh, and my sweet custom plates finally came in! Love it! Life is great!!! :involve:

Any issues with the door steps? I’ve been interested in these to help with unloading and loading my kayaks but was wondering if I took them back off in the winter how noticeable it would be putting the original bolts back.

No issues to speak of, they've worked flawlessly thus far. I did end up removing one I had initially mounted to the front door hinge and moved it to the back hinge and it did leave a very slight 1mm impression on part of the hinge. Nothing that concerns me much and I'm super OCD. Hope this helps.

I would love to see and front and/or back shot showing the amount of poke you get. I'm really looking at the Qtec 41 wheel for the reasons you quoted. The 41 wheel has the same width and backspacing; the offset differs about 2mm with them being +10mm
This is all I have for now, sorry. I'll try to get more tomorrow.

I know this question isn't for me, but I've hooked up the lights for a few people now and everyone seems to love them.

Thanks Chris , they do look good. Like I said wiring is my weakest subject thats why Im asking others if they pulled it off. I know you have the skills but you aint in Maryland!! LOL.. But because the option is there, to have the lights, and the hidden pinch seem is totally hidden, I'm leaning towards the ROAMS again!!!! Just so busy with work lately that I just have not had time to do a whole lot with Rubi....

I added these today. They are the knock offs and I saved about half. So far so good. Seem to be really high quality, thick plastic. The rear on all of them could be a little longer but I think they are all the same length, fake or real.

Some other mods I did a few days ago are here - With much more on order.

I also just did this. I am not big on the orange markers. I try to find clear ones but tougher to be had so I bought some tinted vinyl a while back and just started wrapping them on a few cars.

I took the shorter of the two cables shown here,

quickconnect.jpg

and hooked its eyelids to the main battery's ground and T5 in the PDS (power distribution center) thinking this *may* be a way (I am NOT certain) to truly jump start a JL with a dead ESS (i.e. the smaller and tucked away) battery...see this

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...y-any-jumpstart-tips.12316/page-3#post-314001

by hooking the larger cable to the smaller via the quick connects, and the larger cable's alligator clips to a energized power source.

I have not confirmed this to work. I have not confirmed this to, if used, (as opposed to just sitting there) do no harm.
