Is it possible to go too far with the modifications? l mean Is there a tipping point like with plastic surgery? Everything looks great and then you add more thing.....and one more and then another until even you start giving it the "confused puppy head tilt" and thinking yeah probably shouldn't have done that! lol Just a bit of humor for your Friday.
I feel like I got to that point on my motorcycle last year.

Just got back from vacay in San Diego... I got SO jealous of all the Wranglers I saw there naked. So when I got home, first thing I did was just that. Get her NAKED! I finally mustered the courage to do so... I was worried about chipping paint. I used blue tape all over. Got it out no issues. I was disappointed to see some chipping on the one bolt that attaches the hinge to the frame. Does anyone else have this? Likely from Fiat Chrysler assembly plant themselves, as I’ve never removed the doors before and they were already there. I used some touch up.

Anyways, truly enjoyed the Jeep drive today. I drove it like it was meant to be. I left the top still “installed” because I might go Safari style sometimes.

Finally finished my hardtop lift and got the soft top on. Building a DIY hoist? Total PITA! Removing the hardtop with Topsy brackets and installing the soft top by myself ... like hot knife through butter. Second time will be even easier.

Absolutely. I see it on every forum I’ve been on. There’s always that guy with seemingly endless amounts of mod money. Has the coolest looking ride then mod after mod after mod it just looks like a rolling parts catalog. ;)

Removed the steel bumper end caps, removed the doors, removed the front roof panels and folded the windshield flat, this thing is just too awesome, it's gonna be the best summer yet!!! Look in the back seat and you can see my little boy's pretty happy with the Jeep too! He always says "blue Jeep blue Jeep" with a huge smile on his cute little face!!! Blessed... :involve:

Can't get enough of that blue!! You're making me second guess myself for getting the gray. Looks amazing!

Post a picture when you get it! I'm curious to see how that looks. The black and white stripes make me think of Beetlejuice when I see it from the rear. hahaha

Haha yeah you’re right! Yes, I’ll post pics when I get mine. Should be pretty similar except mine will be black and grey instead of black and white.

Also, nice first aid kit and extinguisher mounts. Where did you get them?

Installed a JK steel bumper that I bought last week for a steal of a deal!

Did you have to size up the mounting holes with a drill? What did you do for a skid plate? I see you used the JK fogs but do you know if the stock JL fogs fit on the bumper?

Sorry for bombarding you with questions. I’m looking to get one of these. I don’t know how much longer I can wait for a JL rubi bumper.
