I plugged in my old dashboard-top Garmin GPS since the 7” screen is garbage. The only time CarPlay recognizes my iPhone is when I don’t absolutely need a NAV system. Very poor offering by FCA.
It's not FCA it's an APPLE issue. Apple is having issues on everything. People think apple is good it's the worst.

Today I used my racor lift for the first time! Same setup as a ton of other posts (just search for it). Worked great, very happy with it. I hope to buy the Topsy hooks if/when the JL version comes available. Just to keep the straps off the weatherstripping above the window.

One problem I did have - I didn’t get the jeep perfectly centered under it and when I lifted it up, it slid sideways a bit and scuffed the roll bar. (I think it was the peg that did the scuffing). Stupid on my part, won’t make that mistake again. Was too excited and rushed it.

So... Where’s the best place to order touch up paint?

Is this the J tops mesh top? If so which flag choice? And how do you like the top?
It is a JTops. It is the black American Flag on Gray Mesh. I like it. It provides complete coverage. It took a little time to get it tight by myself. The Flag print is pretty expensive, but only $20 more than what I configured on Spiderweb after adding the red nubbins and flag print.

Geeez, to me taking my vehicle to a friggin dealership service dept., gives me more angst / is worse then my going to the dentist for dental work.
i concur, took all of 15-20 minutes for me yesterday.

Next time, try running the strap out from the rear door in the corner of the top, instead of all the way out the front. It provides better stability there, and probably wouldn’t have scratched your roll bars in taking it off. That is how I took mine off all the time and never had an issue even if I wasn’t perfectly lined up.

Thanks for the tip! I will try that next time

Side note - with some of what my wife calls “magic eraser” that white “scratch” came right out.
