What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Installed a Warn EVO 10S. Waiting (somewhat) patiently for my Mopar winch guard hoop and my replacement bumper gap filler. Next step, go find a flat surface to tension the cable .

Hmm I guess I need to grease mine then. Any particular product you use? I don't think I own any grease at all

I can’t remember what it’s called but I’ve used a couple of brands. These days, AMSoils’. Comes in the standard grease gun cartridge.

In preparation for hopefully some doors off weather soon, I installed CMM folding mirrors I picked up off @Granny Gear (thank you!), these things are awesome! They can stay there permanently, and fold in out of the way with doors on.

FINALLY the weather warmed up so I could finish adding a few more decals that I'd ordered from Etsy several weeks ago.

Spider web antenna mast-whatever-its-called area (the red is Rubi-red, my camera always seems to make dark reds look much brighter than they are)

And some fun easter egg decals for the windshield to "chase" the passenger side Jeep Was a bit of a pain to place them with the speaker bezel in the way, but the wiper "blends" the imperfect placements in nicely I think.

The weather here has finally warmed up enough that I got to take the panels off yesterday and enjoy the new Alien Sunshade that the hubby and I procured and installed last week.

Semi truck was flinging rocks yesterday which took a couple small chunks of fiberglass out of my hardtop. Filled it in with some bondo, then hit it with touch up paint. The bondo worked great! I'm not entirely happy with the quality of the MOPAR touch-up paint; the problem is it cures on thick and bubbly. But it works for small & inconspicuous spots like this.

My next project may be getting a vinyl wrap kit from Proline to cover the sides + hood of vehicle.

Installed a Distinction Applied tattered flag hydrographic cowl wiper panel.

Changed out the plastic front bumper for steel and changed the grill out to the JT version with larger holes.

As some of you may know I bought my jeep used already with a lift. I knew it was a rough country lift and u would be replacing things as needed. Well ever since I bought it. Maybe 4k miles ago I knew something in the steering just wasn't right. I found a JK fox ats and installed that with a few self mods. That actually made things worse. Finally was able to get someone to wiggle the steering and found my track bar had probably 1/4 of slop in the axle side mount. Pulled everything apart. Well I made a bushing for DL because the rubber bishing inside Dia..is .565 and the bushing on the ATS is only .500. However the Dia. of the mount bracket hole was .615. So I ended up making a couple of hat bushing out of 17-4 stainless and slapping things back together and everything is nice and tight

Another weekend project and it was fun. Made a very solid wheel cribs set and the extra 9” helped a ton for replacing the LCAs. I did use the floor Jack extension handle together with the breaker bar to break loose the bolts, not bad. Also used the cribs as leverage when I torqued the bolts to 190. Had to Jack up the frame on passenger side to align the holes but no need for the driver side. Will see if the Jeep tracks better with the increased caster angles.

Finished installing a Rock Krawler 3.5" X-Factor No Limits and RK 2.25 RRD shocks, with KMC Machete Beadlocks and Maxxis Razr 37x13.5x17 Mt on my JLURD.

Installed the expedition one mule rack. It’s a nice quality piece. And dead quiet when driving. I just need my inner fenders to arrive and I am done. Riiighhhttt. Lol

ok i guess I wasn’t done. New 1/2 doors compliments of @marylandmohave. Could not pass them up. New and 5hr drive. My new favorite mod!!! These things are top quality. Heated mirrors, proximity sensors etc. and a beautiful fit. Thank you Mark. Great seller and guy.
