I did a fender chop that I love - but didn’t like how unfinished the underside of the fender looked - so I took a stab at color matching my Gobi.

Happy with how it turned out.

How did you do the color match? I’ve got a Gobi as well and will likely need the capability

so far so good. Seem sturdy. Operation is flawless so far. Only had them operational for about 10 days.

Installed some cameras around the Jeep. One front, one rear, one above driver front tire and one above passenger front tire.

Mounting cameras above the tires is hard for me. I didn't find a good way to do so. End up using J-B Weld to stick cameras to inner fender and below turn light. Will worry about getting them off later

Wiring is also a PITA. I hate wiring.

I’ve found that Plastidip Tan Camo is the ideal match. I used it in the pictures above and on the inserts of my @DV8Offroad inner fender liners.

Installed some KC Gravity LED Pro6’s I got during the BF promo. Added the red lettering to the covers and wired the lights to the AUX3 switch.

Tested them this evening.

OEM LEDs high beam only:

Low beam, LED fog lights and the Pro6’s which I ordered with the Driving pattern:

Very impressive in my opinion!

The camera and monitor are bought at aliexpress by searching truck cameras. Can't find the original one but similar to this: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804464410746.html. I also bought 2 small AHD 1080 cameras since the ones comes with it are too big.

I installed the front below the factory trail camera. Installed the rear inside the rear window. Left and right are installed inside the fender. See photos below.

Since the monitor can record, I planned to use them as trail cameras as well as dash cameras. The real-time video quality displayed in the monitor is fine. But for some reason the recorded video quality is really bad.

Heat shrink butt connector. The waterproof ones.

Ran the light wire with the winch wiring by moving the fender liner out of the way for access. Someone posted this here on the site, can’t remember what thread, but glad I saw it. Makes it easy to secure!

Second oil change at 8k. Pretty dark like the first one. This time I yellow Teflon on the drain bolt. Took my time and gave a peace of mind.
