What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Once I removed the end caps on the bumper it was much easier. Unplugged and pulled the two 10mm screws that mounted the lights. Covers snapped right onto the lights and everything went back together smoothly!

My wonderful wife, Rebecca Lynn, took the Willys for a grocery run on November 19th while I replaced some parts on her 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (she mowed down Fido about 3 weeks prior)

I texted her later....telling her that the parts were WRONG, and that she’d have to drive Willys a few more days until the correct ones came in. I also told her I made it drivable for short trips if needed.

When she was leaving Berea for home.....she asked if I needed anything else. I thought a good car wash would be what Willys needed.....so she had him washed, and headed home.

Unfortunately.....about 8 miles from home, an oncoming vehicle kicked up a rock....and now you know the rest of the story.

I guess I can now be added to the Broken Windshield Club.

She felt horrible about it.....but not near as bad as Fido.

Ordered a Rugged Ridge Rock Rage steel bumper and a Smittybilt winch. Kinda on a tight budget but think it wll look good on my new 2023 2-door
I will post photo after install. Have to wait on tires and wheels and other things but think tis will make it look pretty good until that happens.. Slow going,, no money LOL

Installed XK Glow turn signals markers on the sides and connected my rigid lights to the parking light circuit and the Aux 4 for the rigid beams. Broke 15 of the fender clips but had picked up 20 yesterday at the dealer just in case. Those are so brittle. I guess everyone will have different outcomes depending on when those clips were made or materials used on them. My Jeep is 3 weeks old from manufacture. So happy to get this out of the way. Went to bed after midnight and woke up with a tension headache. Wife was clattering dishes at 6am so I got up. I may have a smile in the last pic, but my head is roasting!

Looks sharp. I've had my XK Glow vent marker lights installed since July 2022. They function very well, improve turning and lane change safety, and have held up with no issues. I've received compliments on them too.

To anyone considering, the multi-colour ones are more of a gimmick in my opinion. In most places you can only have white, red or amber for lights.

Good info, do you have a link for these covers ? and are the covers sealed, or can humidity/dirt make its way between the fogs and covers ?

Windshield replaced and appointment to re-tint set for Friday. Almost back to normal lol. He pretty much removed the windshield like I would an emblem. Only difference is Id use fishing line and he used what almost looked like a garrote. LOL

Received my Black Friday purchases today.
-swapped out the factory dash speakers for Infinity Reference 3.5’s
-added ambient led lights in the floor
-swapped out headlight bulbs for LED
(Fog light bulbs are on their way)

how is the fitment with these? Do they Sit pretty close to the body or is there a gap? I like the idea of adding side turn signals! I would just want the amber turn signals. Thank you
