I have the rough country A-pillar mount (PN# 70047) which may be discontinued. It is very low profile under my Baja Design Squadron Pro's.

Although it looks like you can still get them in this kit, but I would highly recommend you puts the lights that come with it directly in the garbage!

Thatā€™s almost exactly what Iā€™m looking for. Just a few inches lower but almost same location on the hood! Iā€™ll look into this! Thank you

I think you need to consider the direction/aim you plan for those lights. I use them for ditch lights. If you are shooting over the hood, a higher profile might be desired.
I need to adjust them a little out still. By the time I got everything together I called it good enough for now! They wonā€™t be out quite as far as yours since I have s2ā€™s going on the corner of the rack pointing out/forward towards front and another set toward the rear/back. But they are too straight forward at the moment

There are plenty of cheaper brackets.
I have this one in red, which has faded to a very faint pink šŸ˜‚

and I thought these were cool but I havenā€™t bothered to replace the ones I have.

Ya, the price isnā€™ta huge deal. I can return motobilt or whatever. I bought the ones BD recommended for the XL 80ā€™s and with how the bracket for the light is raised, and the lights are pretty large for that location, they sit higher then I anticipated. I donā€™t absolutely hate it and actually like how far back they sit. Just seems a little high but as a previous member did mention, since I plan on using them just slightly angled out, the height may be a good thing for glare on the hood. Iā€™ll wait a little bit and see if it grows on me and make a decision.

I installed and wired up the Baja Design XL 80ā€™s with motobilt a pillar mounts to the factory aux switch! I kind of wish the lights sat a little bit lower/closer to the hood, anyone have any recommendations on other a-pillar mounts that arenā€™t gawdy?

Take a look at Qudratec website. They have their own brand mounts. They may sit the same , not sure. They're definitely not gawdy... I have them on mine.

Just bumping a past post I made in regard to a really slick offering...

If you are running with a Tazer JL you will really appreciate one of these..

I have been using this holder for around 8 months now.. It is very good>...way better then using/dealing with Velcro, zip ties, etc..

Easy access and it's easy to get the module in and out of it.
It has worked out really well for me..

No more zip ties and the location where it is, is much better then the zip tied position.

I got my Tazer JL holder and one of the OBD II port covers, here.

Read the reviews at this link and you will see other's are also truly appreciating this holder!

Early start this morning! Rugged ridge mats and door sill guards are in. Oracle flush Mount lights are in. Working on AAL Tailgate table and hoping to either get the kraken compressor in and the rebel off-road summit series Rear Bumper with Baja lights in. Long day today.

Do the Oracle LED lights look like they have burnt out LEDs or any I being too picky?

Yes, I have one. It is a bit crude as far as the 3D print quality but it is nice to securely mount it with one screw and provides easy access.

Anyone that has pulled the OEM wires will also appreciate the optional SGW extension cable that makes install/removal of the Tazer so much easier. You won't have to keep reaching up in a tight and difficult space to reconnect.

I see what you see on the bottom, itā€™s not an even line at the corner. Iv heard others return there for the same reason after a few weeks.

I was considering getting the oracles but may want to paint the plastics part to match the body because I think they look pretty dated

Love the setup @Jeepless. Those XL80s throw out a ton of lighting.
Best,

Hand wash and hand dry. Nothing special about that, but for the first use of a hybrid ceramic wash & wax solution. Must be mixed only at the point of use, like epoxy.

Lots of reassuring water beading during the rinses. That counts, as they say, as a result.
