I installed my muffler skid plate this morning. Strictly a cosmetic upgrade because I loathed that crooked trash can stock muffler.
Thanks to the excellent suggestion by @Viking Jeeper, I applied high temp paint behind the cutout.
Love how clean the look is now.

Well, damn, now I have to pull mine off and paint it. Looks great!

Breather tube extensions are by far in my opinion the best piece of mind upgrades you can do for cheap and easy.

The breathers on the JL are one way check valves. No real requirement to extend other than peace of mind.

I was working on my Jeep once and scratched my hand.

.....in 2008. Ya, I have a tattoo given to me by my jeep.

Adapted some "universal fit towing mirrors" (that I first got for my Tacoma) to the Jeep wrangler JL:

Out of the box, they can't quite mount up right, as the outer mount wants to keep sliding off the mirror. But with creative use of molding clips and zip ties, I secured that. (You have to re-bend the molding clip a little bit with pliers, to make a perfect fit)
