I did 20% on all the others

Interesting! Can I ask why you only wanted 20% on the sides but 50% on the front? I went the other way and put 80% tint on the sides.

I don't have a garage, but I made this hoist so I could take the top off myself

Great job! Does it work ok? Is the balance of the roof alright? Refitting is ok too?

Got the Jeep muddy camping this weekend.

Cost me $23 at the manual wash to clean, normally takes $6 Lots of dry, hard mud in the wheel wells and rock sliders ..It’s like concrete.

The sprinkler definitely helps. I normally presoak than pressure wash. Though there is always some left so I let it dry for a few day than crawl under and start grabbing big chunks off.

Not him but tint is rated based on how much light it allows through. 80% tint is very light, it allows 80% of light to pass through it (80% is what stock "clear" windows are rated as) 20% is fairly dark as it only allows 20% of light though. Limo tint (basically blacked out) is 5% tint

I put the winch back on.

I had removed it mostly to see if it made any difference on MPG. It improved the handling, but didn’t do squat on fuel consumption. So back on it went.

Trail Mirrors (Barricade Rectangular)

Phone mount (it sucks dont use it)

RC 2.5 lift kit w/ N3 shocks
RC Adjustable Rear Track Bar
RC Adjustable Front Track Bar
DV8 Spare Tire Delete

Did you do the RC coil lift? I’ve started looking for a small lift and local shop quoted like $800 for kit & install. If so, curious about your experience with this?

I did get it installed. I got it done for $395. I had other places quote it around $800 as well though.

a note on the Rough Country lift; don’t get it. They use substandard hardware and the shocks are meh. I also ordered and had both Rough County front and rear adjustable track bars. Yikes, they use grade 5 bolts. Today it snapped after 3 days and almost lost control.

tomorrow I take it back in to get adjustable lower control arms and going to the steel steering box.

Do yourself a favor and spring for the Mopar lift or something with quality, perhaps teraflex

Changed the oil while it’s sitting on stands and also changed the brushed aluminum steering bezel out for a black one… something that should come on an altitude from factory

Just what I needed - talked off the ledge. thank you. The shop talked them up saying they’ve really stepped up their game. I’m a complete noob but even I knew RC didn’t have a good reputation. but that price for an installed lift that was more than just spacers and had shocks included..had me questioning. but I couldnt find any info on that particular package.
