Random question- is your license plate installed on an angle? On purpose?Installed a palm tree antenna. Bigger than I thought it would be.
Metalcloak bumper license plate frame can be turned from straight to angled. I’m guessing to get it closer to the body so it doesn’t snag.Random question- is your license plate installed on an angle? On purpose?
Yes. It is a Metalcloak. Adjustable. For the reason you stated. I like the look also.Metalcloak bumper license plate frame can be turned from straight to angled. I’m guessing to get it closer to the body so it doesn’t snag.
You gain 2 1/4” lift from just the 1.5” kit? Did you have 35s on before or is the 2 1/4” including 35s being added too? Finally got my lift installed today at a local off-road shop. WOW!!! The Clayton Off-road 1.5” Overland plus is exactly what I was wanting with my 35s. Overall I gained 2 1/4”. The weather is nasty today so better pictures to come later, but here are a few with a couple of before pics too. First off-road trip in two weeks for the Fun Run at Hot Springs Off-road park.
I've had the 35s on since Dec '20 (so before the lift) and wanted more room for flex but didn't want to go too tall, for me (I'm only 5'9"). I've watch this lift for about a year and it was what I was wanting. After talking with Clayton Off-Road, most lifts are actually taller than advertised so that the lift will always provide what was stated; hence why most everyone gains more than the lift. So, I picked up 2 1/4" and over time it will settle some, but not too much - it is perfect for me a my uses. You gain 2 1/4” lift from just the 1.5” kit?
