You could have purchased the original SmartStopStart unit sold by Forum Sponsor @SmartStopStart.com for the same price and it unlike your 1 yr. warranty offering... a knockoff.... the SmartStopStart comes with a 3 yr. warranty.
That’s part of the reason I bought 2thanks...I didn't order it they wanted 44$ to ship it

I strongly encourage other's reading this post to go with the SmartStopStart unit.... it never hiccups, has a 3 yr. warranty and a much smaller physical size.

Yes, trim and bumper paint works perfectlyWhen they start to fade, is painting them a possibility?
Sorry don't mean to jump on your thread but here's one a little cheaper and cheaper shipping. Here is the link to the pn I got from Barry:

MagnetsGave it a wash, and tried to continue my rock light/underglow install. I didn't check the description and just blindly bought extension cables - ended up being four pins when I needed five. Then tried to tack a few in place just to check fitment and my screw was taking a day and an age just to carve a small divot. Any recommendations for self tappers that work well on our frame rails?
I didn't realize that they were that cheap.Sorry don't mean to jump on your thread but here's one a little cheaper and cheaper shipping.

I painted mine a couple years ago & aside from a few tiny nicks, the paint is still holding up well. When they start to fade, is painting them a possibility?
