For my JLU Rubicon that is currently being assembled, I bought Bestop floormats for the front and back. Also purchased a stubby (13") antenna.

High performance floormats and antenna? Or just regular ones?

Opened up the vents on my Rubicon hood. As a water precaution I made a plastic cover for the battery and ABS pump. Got the water shield idea looking at my Challenger Scat Pack where there is a plastic cover over the ABS pump.

With the vents open it does a great job with engine heat.

Only high performance. I anticipate that my MPG rating to increase by .05 more miles per the gallon.

How odd it is that the Rube's fake vents are somewhat ill suited to purpose when modified to perform the actual function that their appearance suggests.

I mean the manner in which they'd allow water to find its way to the otherwise unprotected battery and ABS pump (which Jim has plainly compensated for here.)

No worries waving at both. It’s actually the Jeep wave, not the wrangler wave. Back when I had lifted XJs and WJs I waved and got waves. Seems as the other models lost their solid axles the waves have become reserved to Wranglers.

Love the Gladiator, I may need to go MC on the rear bumper of mine.
