Very nice. This is exactly what I’ll be doing. For the inserts, did you dip the back part of it? Probably no need eh? Was it easy to remove all the clips and inserts?

Also, fix your Sahara half dip emblem :)

Edit: I’ll be dipping the Silver trim on the front bumper too.
Are the bumper pieces easy to remove?

Installed an AFE hi-tuck exhaust, install was pretty straight forward. My advice is unbolt the hanger brackets (2–13mm bolts) in the rear when removing the stock muffler, it’s easier than wrestling with the rubber hangers in a tight spot. The exhaust sounds pretty good also not too loud but you can at least hear it now.

Any Sound clips? I would love to hear how it sounds. How do you like it so far?

So far, what I’ve seen for those is to just mask off and dip in place. I am not sure if it can be removed.

I have the same exhaust setup and definitely had the same issues with the stock hangers. I ended up cutting them off and replacing the one I needed.

What I did so far to my JL Sahara:

- Tinted Windows
- Powder Coated Rims glossy black
- Painted Silver Accents Satin Black
- Painted Emblems Satin Black
- Painted Sideview Mirrors Body Color
- Tinted Yellow part of fender blinkers

So happy with the results!

This is all I have right now, we like how it sounds it gives the Jeep a little growl haha.
Oooooh... I like that one. Good alternative to the Magnaflows that are popular. Where'd you get it from?

Nope just dipped the front. Easy to remove just be careful with the clips around the headlights. Also... fixed the Sahara emblem after I took these photos the bumper is going to be replaced soon so didn’t bother dipped those.

Okay I have seen this a lot. can someone explain to me the red thing on the end of the hitch? I am used to see Winches with hooks. I like the concept of a D-ring or something instead, but is that what this is? Is that used during a pull? Do you attach something to it?

Maybe I need a "modern winch" study course. Synthetic line vs Steel? I think I get as Steel frays, and synthetic might not... maybe on a break, tension rope falls instead of snapping back? Help a person who hasn't purchased a winch yet. You still put a weighted bag over the pull line right?

Thanks!

I got mine on Amazon. Comes in 4, 6, or 12 inches wide. I ordered the 6 inch for the rear fender, but 4 would have been fine.

Edit: this is in response the 3M film question, but the quote isn't showing up in the post for some reason.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to see if they will ship North over the border! :like:
