I’ve been considering this exact setup. How is the glare of the amber lights off the hood?Installed 2 BD S1 lights with the work scene lens for side lighting and BD dual light cowl mounts.
Glare hasn’t been anything I’ve noticed. Might depend on paint color? I’ll try and get some photos to post.
Good deal. I had white ones on the cowl of my black JK and it was blinding almost the reflection. I was hoping the Amber would be better before I install lights in that location on the JL. Do you have a pic of the Jeep from the front not as close up?
this is exciting news. mine just shipped today and i was wondering if this can be done without removing the bumper. did you have to use any specialty tools?Oracle Lighting 5874-504 Rear Bumper LED Reverse Lights installed. Did not have to remove the steel bumper, but was a tight fit getting the screws off/on..
but it's fine, my bad. After I install it, it started trippin like a button was being pressed and it was kept pressing buttons. You have to reset it and it'll be fine, push in and hold the volume and tuner buttons in for 5 secs and let go, it'll reboot and it's good to go
@AzScorpionTook delivery on Monday, had the dealer instal the Ace sliders. For $65.00 it wasn't worth me messing with the body bolts and having the neighborhood kids learn new cuss words.
Yesterday I had the windows tinted 18% on the fronts and limo on the rear and had him do a strip across the top of the windshield which really cuts down on the glare.. Started to a full detail but it got late and I ran out of energy.
