So here is the next step in my weapons system mod(s). Control panel is almost complete. After I get micro switches in I can hook up wiring and keep on Jeeping away….

Today we ordered Fuel Vapor rims (17x9) and 285/75/17 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. Cannot wait until they come in next week and get put on my baby!

I removed the cowl that goes between the bumper and the fender, also the OEM debris shield under bumper, as it needs to come off to get the cowls off. So I have 2 questions, what are yall using to cover the back of the bumper as the foglight harness is now exposed. Also, does that plastic OEM brush guard do any real good...as in, should I put that back now that cowls are removed...any thoughts on either please?
I used a utility knife to cut the bumper to fender part off, and re-installed what was left to cover the fog light area. As for the plastic air dam/skid plate, you can leave it off if you want or re-install.

I intend to do the same. Is warm weather sufficient to allow a nice cut on the plastic? Or do you recommend pre-heating the knife (razor) blade a bit beforehand?

I didn't heat the blade at all. Just used a new blade.... of coarse it's always 80-95F where I live..

That’s the same way I started until I decided I didn’t quite like the sound so I cut and welded a resonator into the dynomax delete
I like the idea of that. As time rolls on it may be on the table if opinions on the sound changes.

Started making a custom horn using an adafruit sound board. I was going to mount the horn button near the console cup holders but decided that was too permanent. Under the steering wheel is more hidden if I decide to remove the custom horn later.

Really cool idea.... I am not familiar with that module.. however, I am a fan of LadyAda and Adafruit... question.. how do you power the unit? are you going to feed it with USB 5V .. or are you going to provide your own separate source of power?

I painted my inserts Ocean Blue to match the Jeep and then swapped them to a Granite Crystal Metallic grille. Whadayathink?

I also have the OEM gloss black grille and I also need to repaint my satin black grille. I could always swap the blue inserts to one of those grills if the granite crystal doesn’t feel right…. Or swap my dark grey Rubi inserts into the granite crystal grey grille - Decisions… Decisions!

Are those LP6s useable on the a-pillar? How bad is the glare?
I put my squadron pros there and it is very distracting.
