What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I like this a lot. Is it street legal? Almost all vehicles seem to have orange marker of some kind on front fenders. Is that just a long-standing thing or is it a DOT req?

These glow yellow with lights on. Never thought about daytime requiring yellow reflector

Installed Diode Dynamics SS3 Sport fog lights and a Diode Dynamics SS6 light bar. My LED headlights were so bright they drowned out the fog and light bar lights, I put my halogen head lights back in. 1. Head lights 2. HL and fog 3. HL, fog, bar, 4. HL, bar 5. Bar 6. Bar, fog 7. Fog. The headlights and light bar were not aimed. I aimed them later and was pleased with the results. I have Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro Combo lights for the cowls coming next week and may add another light bar for the front to get a better spread. I was never into lights until this JL with aux switches.

Trying to decide on the Pro or Sport version of these SS3's. That light output looks pretty good, are you happy with the Sports?

Yup..... and a pointer is when you use your tool to loosen/unfasten the single bolt that secures each side marker ..... keep the tool firmly on the bolt at all times after you unloosen it ..... til you have the side marker away from the JL a few inches..... You don't do this and more often then not the small bolt goes flying / a muck and you will be trying to find it or trying to retrieve it where it fell down into the cavity... YES, an easy install but just keep track of that single fastening bolt on the side marker..

NO, I do not know this from first hand experience... I knew this before I did my install of these terrific side markers so my install was not stressful.... 8-)

The Diode Dynamics LED Sidemarker's (Clear, Smoked, Amber) are "street legal" in all States.

States/DOT just require that specific, emitted color from front sidemarker's when actually lighted, as these side marker's do. See pic below of sidemarker's when off and when lighted.

redid the graphics on the jeep. Matte black against gloss black. Got the jeep emblems and the trail rated emblems in matte black coming. Next up the wheels.
