Just added a jeepuniq mic mount, thanks to @JeepinJason33

My only concern would be if it’ll mar up the bar at all. Doesn’t look like it will. Anyone have any experience with these? Any dents or marring at all?

Does anyone that has done a fender chop still have the plastic molding that you can see outside the fenders? I installed the Quake LED DRL's but want to see if I can mount the plastic molding back to the fenders (I tossed mine). Its the black piece(s) in the attached pic. If so, please let me know. Oh, and I need them from a JLUR. Thanks!

Temps dropped to the low 30s/high 20s this weekend and I wanted a way to put things in/take things out of the cargo area easier, without opening the back window of my soft top. I haven't decided if I really want to go with one of drawer systems, so I came up with something simple and temporary, for about $50.

1" Roller ball bearings and 3/4" plywood.

I cut it skinny enough so that I could still use the tie down rings. I spaced the rollers so they fit just outside the small lip of the center panel, providing a little bit of guidance with the roll. On the test run, it mostly stayed put, but going around corners a little quick caused it to roll some.

It doesn't stay up on it's own when you pull it out too far, but it works. On the test run, placing the heavy items (milk, ice melt, dog food) in the back helped keep it from tipping down/rolling out while loading the rest of the groceries onto it.

But after that first trip, I added a small lift to the side and back edges, and am using a bungie at the front to keep it from rolling around.

Figuring this post will not be missed if I place it here.. NO, this is not a video I did....

Putting this here... cause if you are a guy/ guy so to speak and do your own work around the house.... or say building wood platforms in your JL, you will really appreciate this video.
Watch it from beginning to end.... well worth the time doing so!!

I know, no guy/guy will watch the video from beginning to end and not say the video was one worth passing on to say his Son, friend... even his daughter...

Been thinking of getting one, how is it, much rattling?
I've had the same one for about a year now and I've never heard it rattle. It comes with a foam backing you apply and it makes a nice seal.

Thanks to @Roky , I just mounted the Fox Steering stabilizer. He hooked me up with one he wasn’t using and decided to give this one a shot. My Bilstein that I just purchased was causing a pull. Haven’t driven it yet, but the Fox SS looks night and day better quality. The Fox shock is heavy and just looks better built. The material used is very nice too.

I did have to grind down the, forget what you call those cylinder things inside the bushing, in order to make it fit. Otherwise it mounted super easy to the stock location.

As for the Bilstein SS, I’d say if you have a heavier setup, maybe it’ll work better but since it extends on its own, it’ll cause a small pull, at least it does for me.
