What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Been in use on many military vehicles since the 90s. It even allows you to air down or up on the fly. Except that it is quite failure prone and can leave you with flat tires when you go outside in the morning.

It is a great concept. Failure with tires would not be fun to deal with. Now that would suck to wake up to.

Installed a set of Terra Acoustics replacement dash speakers.
TerraAcoustics
Found them on IG recently, followed and signed up to their email list. Got a First Access email and I said “why not?”.
Install was simple and it arrived with all the tools necessary.
Took me all of 10 minutes.
First impressions were the added Brightness ( From the tweeter) and just a touch of added midrange/midbass.
My MAIN reason for trying em out was the look and finish of a factory dash, without ANY modification.
So far I love em, we’ll see how they sound when I add my AudioControl 1200.6 DSP amp in the future but here’s some pics.

They look great but for the price I would think they would be able to handle more than 35 watts. I’m pushing more than that threw my amp.

ITS DONE!! We got it finished this weekend. Rum runner has grown up. While my brother and dad are very mechanically inclined having rebuilt tractors and trucks this was their first lift. I did a small part but it took them 7.5 hours total to install my lift and adjustable front track bar. And that’s with having to switch out the front springs b/c they put them on reverse. (B/c who reads part #s haha). We’ll see how much it settles but measuring from the spring height it went from 10.5” to 14.25”. I forgot to measure from the rails.

How effective is that bug deflector on the front lip of the hood? I presume that's its purpose.

Only took 4 months to finally find time to complete the electrical work on this side mirror project, but got it done this weekend (wiring was a tedious pain in the ass, but I’m happy with the result). Courtesy light underneath (operates in-sync with the dome light at unlock), turn signals, Baja S2 as ditch lights (Aux3), and amber markers (ties in with parking lamps). The Bajas are compact but generate great light on the edges - will be great for trails.

Based on the picture I am assuming you have the roof rails with the sunrider. I have the sunrider and am looking for roof rails. Which ones do you have? Any issues with the two together?

Considering the current options out there. Being a drop in replacement component set that looks great, these are awesome.
A properly tuned system even WITH an amp wouldn’t blow these. I’m looking forward to puttting some power on them

Come up with an extension asap.... don't gamble that damage will not occur. For less then $6.00 you can come up with an extension. Will only take you 15 min. to do. No wiggle means nothing....

What are you using as an extension?

Today spent 4 hrs cleaning and putting Pinnacle Black Label on the rims, glass and body. Finished by putting the Ski rack back on. Ace sliders delivered so installing those when I get back home.

Which roof rails do you have? I have the same Thule ski rack.

Piece of PVC with a foot stool rubber end is one way or.....

I decided to go back to 33’s but keep my lift height. Super stylish

Slashing a sidewall on the trail with no spare is kind of a pain in the ass. (This spare is off a ram truck)
