Test fitted a twin mattress inside my JLUR. Fits snug and will definitely work. A little bit of weight on the front and it collapses down a bit, with a little incline for the head area. It'll do!

Also mounted up my fire extinguisher on the tailgate.

how much space does it take up at the end of garage? i.e. - if you previously parked with the front bumper up against the wall, how far from the wall could the front bumper be when using this lift?
I tried to get some measurements for you, it looks to be about 2 feet 4 inches. Also if you raise the lift enough to be able to close the back window it could free up another foot and 3 inches.

ETA: scratch that last statement, I raised it to close the window and measured, it gives you and extra 11 inches when you close the window. So the closest you can get your bumper is 1 foot and 5 inches.

Well crap...the item picture doesn't show how the stripes are cut out...It makes it look like it is a solid piece.
Looked pretty straight forward to me though...
What might be cool though(or not to some) is when you’ll take it off, the UV rays will have that uncovered paint fade a bit, and leave a flag shadow on the hood ! Lol

Hahha yah, you will have to be confident in your parking skills. I am terrible at parking so I don’t park under it lol. When you close the window on it it’s more secure, the lift would hit the garage wall instead of your window.

I love those wheels on the billet silver. Im having them put on my blue rubi and can't decide if I should paint the rings or not.
The rings look much better in person than the pictures.
I was on the fence if I was going to stick with the bare metal.
I like them this way.

Maybe black for an all black out look, but I also like they won’t show rock rash as badly

Today I got a call from my dealer. I found out my JLUR had arrived (still in KZ). I signed papers and agreed to go back into debt with way too many monthly payments. Most importantly I got to drive it home and put 13 miles on it so far, with freedom panels off. I also repped the JL Forum shirt I got from another thread from long long ago, in a galaxy called Swanton and Alorton. Before an evil empire called Rebuild used secret codes like JB, JS and KZS to defeat the FCA tracking Empire ruled by @JLWF Dealer Guy .

As we’re house shopping right now, that nice 1955 house was just disqualified by its garage my JL wouldn’t fit in.... lol
Plastidipped my Sahara and Jeep emblems earlier this week, looks great but need to take a picture and post it here...
It was my first time plastidipping anything, we’ll need to redo the Sahara ones, as I feel having smaller letters made it harder (some spot peeled off as I removed the unnecessary dip), while the Jeep ones turned out well.
Any tips here ? :)
