Best part of these pics is those 2 awesome yellow labs.Finished up my weekend project. Got these Motobilt rocker armor a year ago and just now got around to putting them on. I’m gonna run them along with the stock Rubicon rail. They’re painted with steel it for now. I actually like the way that the steel it color goes with the black and stingray so I think I’ll keep it that way. I am going to add probably a tube welded to the Rubicon rockers at an upward angle and then put a plate on top of that to use for a step and to strengthen it. And then I’m going to make some quick removable steps similar to the last picture.
Thank you! Been a long time coming. Waiting for it to get built to waiting for the tires to get in. Who knew that I would wait 8 weeks on tires. I would have ordered them when I did the Jeep.
Oh yeah, it lights it up pretty good. Went on a trail with my son and his friend last night and it was like daytime. There is very little glare on the windshield. If you don’t push it all the way up and tighten during installation, you could get some light bleed. Definitely well worth the money and an easy install.

Only took 4 months to finally find time to complete the electrical work on this side mirror project, but got it done this weekend (wiring was a tedious pain in the ass, but I’m happy with the result). Courtesy light underneath (operates in-sync with the dome light at unlock), turn signals, Baja S2 as ditch lights (Aux3), and amber markers (ties in with parking lamps). The Bajas are compact but generate great light on the edges - will be great for trails.Swapped out the side mirror caps with the OEM export version to add signal lamps, and may have gotten a little carried away with the additional lighting. Hardware installed today, wiring still to be done. Baja S2 combos to light up the side blind spots will be controlled by aux3, 3/4” smoked amber led marker light will tie in with the fogs, and another 3/4” smoked white led underneath the mirror that will serve as a puddle light that comes on with the courtesy lights at unlock. Install not hard but involved a bit of cutting/shaping the caps and some of the mirror support structure with a Dremel. I’ll post again once I have a chance to run the wiring.
