Yeah it’s the ARB dual compressor. I’m having things installed and think I mixed up the Aux buttons.

I installed the ARB dual compressor. The compressor draws its power from the battery, the two positive wires from the compressor to the battery have 40A fuses already.
The purple wire from the compressor does not draw 40A at all because it is simply a switch on a relay that closes the circuit.

My ARB twin is connected to Aux4. Works fine.

It looks like it has an onboard relay, so since you’ll be activating the switch circuit it shouldn’t matter, they’ll just have to run the constant power to the battery.

Installed an Adam’s 1350 front DS. Very straight forward install. A little trick i used was a jack stand to hold the axle end up high while I installed the transfer case end.

Finally continuing with Project Beefcake now that my busy season has passed and the weather isn't hot and humid.

Nice.

A family friend assigns titles to his jobs, too. E.g., "Project Desert Fox" refers to something that includes at least one item with the nomenclature Flat Desert Earth. ;)

You keep playin with it and you are gonna go blind! :giggle:
Ooo. By that standard, my motorcycle modifications should have forced me to use a white cane many years ago.

I added this this weekend. Winch going directly to the battery made me a little nervous so after looking over many threads on this forum about adding a relay I added this to my jl-300. just need to add some boots over terminals.

You're using a Voswitch for power on and off the winch?

Time to put the hard top back on. The new headliner really finishes off the interior nicely. Sound deadening made a big difference as well. Worth the effort.
did you just put on some Dynamat before the liner went on?

took it into the dealer for it's 30k service. went in with a low tire on the front left. asked them to not adjust the tire pressures (i run at 32). came out with the low tire still on the front left, meaning the lube tech didn't do the tire rotation. need to go back and bitch at the service manager.
...
so the Service Manager was really cool about it. he accepted that the tire rotation probably wasn't done, and agreed the repair order said nothing about a 30k service or inspecting the diff fluids. going in this saturday for tire rotate and diff fluid inspections, no waiting (hopefully). will report after.
took it back to the dealer today, they got me right in. they ended up going above and beyond. did the tire rotate, and instead of just inspecting the diff fluids, they went and did the fluid change service on both diffs and the transfer case (at no charge). oh and no metal in the oils, just slightly darker in the rear diff.

so A+ Larson Jeep, Puyallup WA.

Curious - what’s the criteria for the diff and transfer case fluid changes? Is it mileage or age? If so, what are they?
