Did the five tire rotation and removed the soft top as the hard top is going back on this weekend. We were planning on going South to AZ but with the border staying closed we are turning our Jeep West and heading to the Rocky Mountains.

Hey 306, mind if i ask about your suspension and tires, we have twin Sahara altitudes, what size tire you running? and are you lifted or leveled? Looking to up mine on the stock rims, looks like you have already done so, very interested in what your set up is. TIA!

A friend of mine has an auto repair and body shop. I asked him to paint it Sarge Green, they did a great job for a reasonable price. Love the tent, I’ve camped up and down the east coast and been to the Grand Canyon/Moab area twice. Hope you get your trailer soon, fall camping time is here.
It looks great. I pick it up the first week of October.

No secrets man. IPhone camera works magic lol. No ceramic just a plain old cheap car wash before removing top and swapping doors 👍🏻
Can't always tell secrets. 😎 ;)

I got 37s finally. And installed my Tazer from the Amazon sale. I already had the extension cable, thank god, so I’ll never have plug into that bypass again. Over a half hour of working on that. I ended up taking the door off to get an angle that worked for me.

Put some new shoes on it. Had 40/14.5/17s and put 39/13.5/17s on it.

40s.
The 40 were just a touch big. Would rub when flexed too the limits. The 39s, which are a “small” 39, fit better.

392 is looking great! How do you like your LP4s mounted on the pillar? Do get a good amount of light put off to the sides of the road (ditch area) with those as well? Starting to re-search what kind of aux lighting I would go for.

They work very well in that position.

How does the 392 pull 40's with 3:73 gears? What shock set up you have?

More slow but steady progress, only having an hour or two at a time to work just means the fun lasts longer. I would have had the fenders and liners back on last night, but I figured it would be easier to do the suspension work with them still off the Jeep so I am just leaving it until it's done. If @Quadratec would ship the order I placed last week so I could get the springs over with, that would be great. ;)

Tightened the front lower ball joints. Didn’t jack the jeep, just crawled under.

Used to get clicking from the driver-side, but only when turning to full lock right, and maybe 10% of the time, so it's been a low priority. It was a notch and a half loose.

Highly recommend having replacement cotter pins on hand, and just snipping the old ones. A silly amount of time and effort was wasted on them.
I just did this today on both sides. Mine were surprisingly loose.

I hit my stock steering stabilizer while at Moab and it’s been leaking ever since. Figured I’d better swap it out before it’s too late. That and the other day, it was cold out and the steering felt almost jerky when turning. So figured it might be a good idea to swap it out.

Went with the Bilstein stabilizer to match my 5100 shocks I just installed.
