I fixed 10 broken clips on the rear bumper. The stock bumper is prone to damage offroad and the plastic clips break easy.

It is time for an aftermarket offroad bumper with better clearance, especially behind the rear wheels. But none of the aftermarket rear bumpers offer any protection from gravel/dirt that will come from the rear wheel, stone chips on the side and behind the rear wheels is a concern.

That’s where the Genesis install video shows to install it. He made it look easy,
but like you said I don’t know. Still haven’t made up my mind to try it myself or dealer install. If you had it to do over where would you put it? 🤔
I hung it temporarily to an overhead Molle panel until I figure out a permanent spot. I don't like the design of where the ribbon connects to the screen. Eventually I'll fit it better up there to get the ribbon out of view.

How does the Jeep drive with new shocks comparatively?
How hard were the LCA skids to install?
x2 Did you look at any other options like Fox, King, Rancho, etc.? Not sure how "performance" I want to go and I hear good things about the Rancho 9000s but also that they are less high performance. Speculative though so real world is best

Let us know how this goes! I've got one on order, and I'm a little nervous about pulling the whole fuse box out to install the tray. It will be fine I'm sure, it just seems like it's got potential to go very wrong.
You're gonna be a-ok... be careful, label the cables, handle the PDC with TLC, & take your time. The instruction video makes it as smooth & easy as it looks.

Coverking headliner installed with kilmat. Love the look. Haven’t installed top back on Jeep yet. Still needs some work around the windows.

I'd be interested to hear what you think once you drive with it on... haven't seen anybody put kilmat up top.

how much weight do you think that Kill mat added to the top? That damn thing is heavy enough already.

Looks awesome!
Do you have any lift or wheel spacers? My Willys is supposed to arrive on the 20th so I’m trying to get a feel for tires/wheels stock vs. lift. TIA for any info you can provide.

No lift. These are 0 offset. I am adding rubicon springs and 1”/1/2” spacers next week.

There was no rubbing on the drive home so you could get away without a lift for street.

No pictures, but I finally straightened out the bracket that is bolted to the passenger side lower control arm. The TeraFlex instructions with my lift kit told me to pry this bracket open, release the brake line, and discard the bracket. I tried every tool I own, and I failed to get that bracket pried open. My options for tools were limited by my desire to not puncture and ruin the brake line. My only remaining choice was to cut it with something that surely would have injured the brake line thus entrapped.

So I bolted it on the correct way and straightened it out to compensate for all the bending and twisting that had resulted from my attempts to pry it open.

I'm just going to run the factory brackets. I'm betting I will never yank a brake line in two, because I think I still have plenty of flex with those brackets intact. Time will tell.
