What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Mm. I had an older Ford (I know) that did just that under heavy braking. Very disconcerting, but daily commuter traffic made the occasional fast stop unavoidable.

My journey to my JLU arguably begun when some [impolite description] ran the Stop sign at the end of the street he lived on, broadsiding my car and injuring me a little bit. The Ford was totaled, I received a small settlement and that was that.

Anyway, I've seen enough posts regarding the Fox 2.0 stabilizer that it's already on my Short List, if or when I ever experience similar steering issues.

Honestly, Mopar should include the beefier stabilizer and an adjustable track bar as part of the lift.

I have a 2018 Sahara; the steering was fine when the Jeep was stock. It was fine even after I put 33s on it. But the moment I got the lift and 35s, the steering went to shit.

Between the two, I’d say the large 35-inch tires were the biggest contributing factor to my steering issues.

The OE stabilizer is half as stiff as this Fox 2.0.

I installed my trail rax mount on like 3.5-4 beers and I went out the next morning and reinstalled it the correct way

Finally installed a Fox 2.0 steering stabilizer.

I wasn’t happy with the Jeep’s steering after it got a lift and 35s: the steering felt too loose, it pulled to the right, and I could feel every road imperfection through the steering wheel.

After a short drive, I can say that the beefier stabilizer has eliminated 80% to 90% of the pull, steering feel has more resistance, and now I don’t have the steering wheel jerking to the side when I stomp on the brakes.

Mr. Red. I checked the link out for the Fox 2.0 and saw Z Automotive Tazer Mini on sale for $280.95. Been waiting and thinking about Tazer Mini lite . Microsoft Edge found $14.95 off coupon for me. so pulled trigger for $266.00+Tax Saved about $68 just by looking at the link you sent on your post. Good timing. Showed only 5 left.

Received the key hole covers and got them popped on today. Really happy with them and already treated them the 303 UV protectant. While I was at it I Plasti Dipped my decals to finish out the look.

Installed the CoolTech Flat Tow wiring harness. A lot of steps but great instructions and nothing crazy. Still need to wire up the plug but Im waiting for additional parts so that I can fab up a custom mount.

Can’t ordered paint matched unless buying new Jeep. Matter of fact they are not even available for order unless buying new yet. I got lucky and found a color matched set on FB locally from someone that bought new Jeep and didn’t want to keep them. The inside is very nice, finished out very similar to OEM full door. I will definitely post some pics. Also, there is a half door thread that shows them somewhere on here

Where did you get the patriotic covers?
