I gave my driver side lower ball joint a floss. The shop that installed the BJs apparent didn’t press them flush.

Uhh, that doesn’t seem ideal. So can you leave it?

Its something that needs to be fixed. I tried to seat it without having to take it off but the back side still had a small gap. I ended up removing it and pressing it back flush.

Installed CMM grab handle ball mount and mirrors. I also tried out the Smittybilt soft top boot cover. I believe it’s designed for the 4 door, bit loose on the 2 door. But works well enough and keeps everything tight while improving rear view mirror visibility. While also looking sleek and protecting the top while off-road.

Today I replaced the Teraflex VSS 9550 shocks with Fox 2 IFP. Three shock replacements went well, and on the fourth one I found out that the new shock is leaking oil.

This fourth shock is the only one I hadn't checked before getting started. I ended up removing the old shock and then putting it back in... I loved wasting my time... That's how I learn my lessons, the hard way...
