We have bubbling paint on our passenger side door, lower front corner. Whodathunk aluminum doors would bubble and corrode in just a few years? Haven't even had ours in any harsh environments either.
are you guys talking stock/oem paint and hinges? And it’s corroding??? That’s not good. I’d think you are just driving it in normal environments like rain, dirt etc… that shouldn’t corrode. I should check mine.

Here's where our corrosion is... I just found a new spot on the driver side upper hinge just as I was snapping these pics! Sumbitch!

Holy Sh…….. that is bad. Definitely a warranty issue for body/rust through. Looks like there was a bad batch during the painting process??? FCA should be taking care of us who do experience this. I checked mine and knock on wood luckily I don’t have any (yet).

Keep us posted on how the escalation goes.

This is my first go round with them. I did a ton of research before I pulled the trigger on these. I was debating between the 12.5 and 10.5 sizes. I like the stance with the 12.5’s. I need to air them down a bit. The shop had them at 42-44. I’m gonna try 35ish. But even at higher pressures, the rise wasn’t harsh.
I have them in 35's, just got back from a 4500 mile trip from PA-CO > CO-PA. They seem just fine, I'll know more when I rotate them in 500 miles, thats usually the telltale. My only complaint was two of the five took a good deal of weight to balance. BUT, I didn't roadforce balance (was up against clock to leave), just traditional. They don't thump or vibrate at all, super smooth ride, as good as my duratracs I had on my Taco. Be interesting to see how they do this winter in snow. Did amazing off road all through the San Juans in CO.

The bottom of my OB 2 door did the same thing. Passenger side also... 3year/36k warranty covered the repair . The dealer said it was because they didn't get enough seam sealer in that bottom edge of the door. Had to have the door repainted. Good luck with your warranty claim! Mine went pretty smoothly - the dealer just had to take pictures and send them in to see if the repair would be covered. Seemed odd to me that they wouldn't cover it but...

That’s good to know. I feel even better about my choice. I aired them down to 37-38 last night and it helped settle the ride quite a bit. I might try going down to 35. No complaints so far.

@jeronimo that looks great. Did you get that from Pixel Decals? Are you also getting the matching ones for the side vent?
This one is someone else's version - mine is only 2 layers, the black topographic pattern is printed on the matte black.

Yep, that's bad. Mine is 3 1/2 years old and has seen plenty of road salt and off-roading and it doesn't show this at all. They need to fix that.

So mad at myself. Put a big gouge in my freedom panels. Lifted just a bit too high in my tiny garage and hit it against the garage door brace.

Still have some hardtop touchup paint from my JK. But it's a little deep and crumbly, so I'm thinking I may need to epoxy it before touching it up.
If you're handy with a tongue depressor, prep a wee bit of J-B KwikWeld. Use it to build up the depression in the panel. Have a hair dryer handy to speed up the initial set as needed. Let it cure overnight and sand to your preference before painting. It will harden to a very dark gray.
