Rear end maintenance… changed out diff oil and switched diff covers from Motobilt to ARB.
Is a new gasket suggested (and/or provided) when changing differential covers?

The ARB covers have a magnetic dipstick and drain plug to easily check levels and metal shavings to quickly determine fluid/gear health. Plus, the bolts are recessed so you can’t hit them as easily.
Nice. Oddly enough my Honda Pilot from long ago had magnetic plugs but Jeep doesn’t. If you put the ARBs on do you have to do anything to the factory drain on the axel(I think it’s there). I know some folks seal that off.

I always replace mine with a new lube locker. Some folks use RTV. Whatever your personal preference is. They both function the same.

I left it as is!

Very nice. I know you have a sport, but what headlights and taillights do you have?

Nice picture, sir.
I put the Rough Country 9Inch LED Headlights. I likes the X style and were not too bad on price.

Installed the Mopar sun bonnet.
pros: tight fit(really tight)
Less wind noise
Eliminates UV rays

cons: really tight fit. Almost need a come-along to pull the back corners(pic).
Obviously doesn’t have door surrounds so not water tight.
The snap screws are a bit larger and won’t thread all the way in.

I like running naked as much as possible🤣. But wanted something for pop ups and trips back home from running with the top off all day. It does give a more “relaxed” ride after a day of top/doors off all day. We will see how much my theory becomes reality.
cheers 🍻

Please let me know pros/cons vs K02”s. Just too note, being in Florida I tackle lots of rain…. Thx.
I had 37 KO2's on my JK and now I have 35" Baja Boss A/Ts on my JL. The MIckey Thompson's feel much much more planted and responsive. I would say road noise is comparable. I live In the Seattle area and so far I would say they do well in the rain, I've never felt a lack of confidence with them, even on the freeway in the wet. My only knock with them (and frankly most A/Ts) is they like to collect rocks.

The BFGs are still a great tire, if anything they are lighter and feel more transparent. This may sound silly but the best way I can describe it is the Ko2's are like a pair of sandals and the Baja Boss's are like a pair of sneakers.

Finished installing Clayton Off-road 2.5" overland lift with Teraflex 3.3 adjustable shocks. Great piece of kit and customer service was terrific as I had a couple questions through the build. Getting ready to order Icon rebound pros with Nitto Ridge Grappler 37s x 12.50. For now, its looks a bit awkward with 33s.

Interested to hear a review on the lift after you’ve had a chance to drive it for awhile. That‘s currently my front runner…

Sadly, as I pulled out turning all left the front right wheel only rubs the bumper so next is a stubby bumper!

Will certainly do so but drove it today roughly 50 miles on neighborhood roads and highways and it rode great. I will have it aligned but frankly not sure it needs it. Drove with the shocks at different positions and that made a world of difference.
