What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

It comes with the axle, just a solid bar with some 7/8 heims. Going to switch the draglink to all heims too, got it sitting in the garage just need more time lol

I wasn't looking hard enough but obvious it's a new axle with a different housing style. Looks like a D60/D70 hybrid to get the strength with a more compact package.

So no painted Reids

Made some progress on my security enclosure. Bed lined the backs and bottoms to figure out my technique. Normally my go to is raptor liner, but I didn’t want to spray this one. Had a 20% coupon so figured for this project I would try the Iron Armor from harbor freight. Stuff is like rolling glue.

Did you have to cut your RokBlokz? I have the Rubicon punch out and I'm curious if the lod slider will need the hole or if it will cover it.

Put in an order for a good deal on some 37x12.5r17 milestar pats ($273), need to figure out a lift now! Want a MC 3.5, but worried about install.

I just did the Clayton Off-road 2.5” in my garage. It’s the first jeep I have and the only kit I’ve ever installed. Had a few friends help. It’s bolt on and the quality is insanely high (as mentioned by my Jeeping friends). I imagine the 3.5 would do you really well.

I removed the dash speakers and replaced them with Infinity Reference REF-3032cfx speakers. Holy sound improvement Batman!

I have the Alpine "upgraded" system with the 8.4" screen and sub and the OEM speakers are garbage. The difference it made just by replacing these two speakers is night and day.

I have the Metra dash pods to replace the knee panel speakers with Infinity Reference REF-6532ex, but I need to line them with Kilmat and poly fill before I install them.

I have not decided what to do with the sound bar speakers, because I am not too keen on cutting the sound bar up. I may just make a trim plate and replace all 4 of them with Infinity Reference REF-3032cfx speakers.

It came with heims for the steering, not saying they are better or worse, they require a little more tlc than standard, they more prone to dirt just because they are open. But for me even being high steer the draglink limits me out on flex, and i can get the heims to give me that little extra to not make it a hindrance.

Quick question, do they leave any indentations on the doors upper rubber lining/gasket due to the weight of the door?

I have the ACR hangers, and no they don't affect the rubber gasket (when used properly) because the doors sit on the hangers in the window channel, not laying on the gasket.

No, that is one of the big selling points. They sit in the window channel so never touches rubber.
