Did you see significant improvement in the steering?

No not significant but you can tell the difference on both medium and firm. I can't do firm around town it makes the steering feel sluggish but I do like the medium, it's better than the stock unit.

New exhaust...!
Been wanting to get rid of the 40lb, 13 gallon trash can underneath, so I went to my local muffler shop and told him what I wanted; free flowing but not loud. He hooked me up with an 18" MagnaFlow, 2.5" in/out (longer body quiets it down a little more), and using 2.5" pipe created a high-clearance exit pipe for me.

It is not loud and has an excellent, mild exhaust note. Motor is breathin' much better. After one day the engine light popped on, probably related. I dislike having that lit on the dash, maybe it will go away. The resonator is still in place. Overall, very happy. Cost was $350.00.

Just and FYI for anyone with aux switch problems.
I found the issue with the aux switches intermittently working after the auto window down install. I found out that there was a revised aux switch revision, new part number 6BE581X9AE. The back of the switch even looks different. After a month still working normal.

Thought about the same but using a muffler delete as the tailpipe.

Odd. I had put on a muffler delete and had a shop cut out the stock resonator & weld in an SLP Loudmouth. Great sound, no CEL.
