Time to upgrade to rockjock!
Yeah.... not sure I’m gonna go that route. I’m not totally convinced that it’s as good on the highway. It even states that in their website. And with the rk no limits end links, there’s no better articulation either. There’s less than a 1/4” difference in my sway bar hooked and disconnected and the links unhooked. So for me, there’s no real benefit. Here’s pics....

I ordered the Rock Jock rear sway bar, should have it installed by end of next week, along with 3.5" Rock Krawler springs. Been waiting for 5 weeks for Rock Krawler adjustable rear track bar and was told it will finally ship tomorrow

I think you’ll definitely benefit from the rear one, mine contacts the frame at full droop , and the way the anti rock mounts, you don’t have that issue.

just for reference, I run the rock jock, I’ve put over 15 K miles on the highway towing a trailer half of the time and it handles great. It may not be for everyone but I absolutely love it a lot more than I liked my disconnects

Not knocking it at all brother, just not sure I want to run it. I’m gonna ride in a rig with it on when the guy gets his, then I’ll have some better perspective. But when they tell you right on the website that the highway ride is not as good as stock bar, I’m just taking their word for it. I respect rock jock for being up front with that information, some other companies out there aren’t as honest and up front with some of their products short comings.

Finally installed an ARB Twin Compressor with the Grimm Offroad Mounting Bracket that I bought back in January. I crashed my mountain bike and broke a collarbone the weekend I planned to do the install, so jacking up a jeep, removing a 35" tire, and cranking wrenches was put on hold for a while. I did a lot research on this mounting system before purchasing it, including contacting ARB. They were very helpful and confirmed that it's an acceptable location. The mounting bracket includes a heat shield to help protect the compressor from the catalytic converter. I did a test run and inflated a 35" tire from 12 psi to 36 psi in a fraction of the time it would take the portable compressor I've been using.

I got the fairlead installed, which required heating a wrench in my forge, and bending it to a suitable shape. That finally allowed me to replace my ghetto license plate mount with something nice.

After playing in the mud all day, I finally got the winch line installed. I pulled my Ford up the hill at midnight, wile the cops looked on and wondered WTF I was doing. Pro tip, if you are doing sketchy looking shit in a dark industrial parking lot at midnight, wear a day glo yellow safety vest. The cops will eventually get bored and leave without harassing you.

It WAS pretty stupid pulling the truck with nobody in it to hit the brakes if the line snapped, but I have insurance, and I'm selling the damn thing anyway, so I went for it.

First time in my life I ever wound up a winch line. I think I did okay. It got a little messy toward the end, but I don't think that will create big problems down the line.

We installed a Bridge Com AnyTone 578UVIII Pro Tri-Band DMR, a Yaesu FT8900R Quad Band, a Yaesu FT-857D and a WeBoost. As for the antenna’s we are running a Diamond CR8900, a Bridge Com Tri-Band and an ATAS 120A.

It’s still a work in progress. Thus, after 9 months of waiting, we finally got our Dynatrac Axles in. Hopefully fairly soon we can start on installing the axles, suspension, wheels and tires. One day she will finally get finished.
