Time to upgrade to rockjock!
Yeah.... not sure I’m gonna go that route. I’m not totally convinced that it’s as good on the highway. It even states that in their website. And with the rk no limits end links, there’s no better articulation either. There’s less than a 1/4” difference in my sway bar hooked and disconnected and the links unhooked. So for me, there’s no real benefit. Here’s pics....Time to upgrade to rockjock!
I ordered the Rock Jock rear sway bar, should have it installed by end of next week, along with 3.5" Rock Krawler springs. Been waiting for 5 weeks for Rock Krawler adjustable rear track bar and was told it will finally ship tomorrowYeah.... not sure I’m gonna go that route. I think you’ll definitely benefit from the rear one, mine contacts the frame at full droop , and the way the anti rock mounts, you don’t have that issue.I ordered the Rock Jock rear sway bar, should have it installed by end of next week, along with 3.5" Rock Krawler springs. just for reference, I run the rock jock, I’ve put over 15 K miles on the highway towing a trailer half of the time and it handles great. It may not be for everyone but I absolutely love it a lot more than I liked my disconnectsYeah.... not sure I’m gonna go that route. I’m not totally convinced that it’s as good on the highway. Not knocking it at all brother, just not sure I want to run it. I’m gonna ride in a rig with it on when the guy gets his, then I’ll have some better perspective. But when they tell you right on the website that the highway ride is not as good as stock bar, I’m just taking their word for it. I respect rock jock for being up front with that information, some other companies out there aren’t as honest and up front with some of their products short comings.just for reference, I run the rock jock, I’ve put over 15 K miles on the highway towing a trailer half of the time and it handles great. Today's after work project:
Now if I could just get the rest of my AAL stuff to show up...
Dude how bright are those lights and do you have any pics of them downrange? We installed a Bridge Com AnyTone 578UVIII Pro Tri-Band DMR, a Yaesu FT8900R Quad Band, a Yaesu FT-857D and a WeBoost. As for the antenna’s we are running a Diamond CR8900, a Bridge Com Tri-Band and an ATAS 120A.
It’s still a work in progress. Thus, after 9 months of waiting, we finally got our Dynatrac Axles in. Hopefully fairly soon we can start on installing the axles, suspension, wheels and tires. One day she will finally get finished.
