New kicks and rims on, finally (after and before)
It is, the 80th anniversary badging is fairly understated on the model, but I like itI like the Wrangler badge. Is it unique to the 80th anniversary edition?
No they are the standard mopar rock rails, I did have to do some alterations to the mounting holes, they weren't lining up right for some reasonDo you have Mopar Rock sliders with Step Assist? Looks like you might. I have the same Flaps but have to cut a bigger slot for my rails since they are bigger than the normal Rubicon rails.
The pre-cut is not sized for my rails.
Was the flap hard to cut and if you had to what did you use? I have to cut the pre-cut rail opening about 2 inches wider for my rails. No they are the standard mopar rock rails, I did have to do some alterations to the mounting holes, they weren't lining up right for some reason
I used a dremel tool to grind/sand away what I needed to remove. It's not that hard of a material, you could probably cut it away with a good, sharp box cutter. Was the flap hard to cut and if you had to what did you use? I have to cut the pre-cut rail opening about 2 inches wider for my rails.
Nice! I have the Rancho pads that are supposed to correct the bow, but I'm lacking the energy to install them.Backdrop story. Bought my Sport S used with Mopar lift already installed. Been driving it after all my mods with front springs bowed like crazy. Well today I dropped the axle and threw the Rock Krawler correction pads on and magically springs are straight. I also put a 3/4” spacer on to help level it out . Still a little nose down with hardtop off but not bad. Easy install. The other change of the day was relocating my FOX ATS steering stabilizer from stock location to the tie rod. This install was a little more of a pain since I have the JL version of the ATS and had to remove the bracket. Won’t go into details but what should have taken maybe 30-45 mins turned into 2 hrs. Here some pics or it didn’t happens LOL.
Lol. I was in same boat. I’ve had them for like 8 months. Surprisingly easy install, except those 37s are very heavy lolNice! I have the Rancho pads that are supposed to correct the bow, but I'm lacking the energy to install them.
Yeah, it's definitely nice getting rid of the throttle delay and being able to adjust the sensitivity. I have the EVC iDrive controller.
Just installed the Hikeit pedal controller and am loving it so far. Makes my 35’s feel like stock 33’s again.
Oh wow! That has been awhile! I’m sure you’ll find it’s changed quite a bit! I’m in north Phoenix/Scottsdale. Around the 101 and Scottsdale rd.I miss Arizona sometimes, haven't been back to Phoenix in about 12 years to visit my family. Where in Phoenix are you, my family is around 43rd Ave & Cactus.
I plan on doing the same thing. Glad to know that SS fits without interference. Looks good!Backdrop story. Bought my Sport S used with Mopar lift already installed. 35” KO2’s on 17” Icon Rebound wheels. Thanks. What size wheels and tires are those? Really like the look!
Hey Scott. It is a tight fit but there is room. I have it leaned forward just a bit to make sure clears the Yeti TB.I plan on doing the same thing. Glad to know that SS fits without interference. Looks good!

I’ve had my eyes on the Metalcloak. Thoughts so far?Metalcloak skids and Baja Designs Squadron Pro’s. I added the golden diaper as well, but it’s not in the first pics. There’s a half assed pic of it out on the trail.
