Rotated the tires today....
That's next on my list. Today I changed her oil, filter, and air filter. My first time since her Jeep Wave stuff ended. Learned that the engine has to be warm before checking the oil. I put in the 5 quarts and the dipstick was dry. Freaked me out a bit.

Got all stripped and went for a drive through the countryside (ok...only a little countryside and a lot of highway) to go spend the day at a river.
A few things I learned this trip...dust just lives in the air out here in AZ. Somehow managed to get a light layer of dust on everything just driving down the interstate. Also, for all those that like to go on about how you lose gas mileage with bigger tires (which I haven’t upgraded yet) I’ll see you those big tires and raise you going naked. I lost 2-3mpg. Getting blown all which way. Especially driving down the AZ highway between Phoenix and Sedona...can you say wind tunnel. Gusts so strong would literally take your breath away...even as you’re driving 80+ down the highway. Props to my Quay sunglasses though. Those things didn’t budge.
Not sure how long it’ll stay this way though. Sadly, I drive 7 miles down a dirt road to work each day and I’m already sick of all the dust haha

A few pics of the River I took the Jeep to.

Agree on the nekkid Jeep taking a hit to mileage. Oh well, gotta pay to play. Great pics btw.

Source for the vent sticker(s), please. TIA.
The vent sticker is actually just a badge, you can put any of the trail rated badges on the vent and they will still flip out. but for some reason the badges wouldn't stick on the inner vents. Only the outer vents would hold em. Just my experience. Maybe there was a curve on em, i don't know.

Sourced from etsy, you can find a million different kind of trail rated badges.

Well, it's late, and this old man is tired. I got all but the top of the Diabolical Inc. Slipstream installed. I'll leave the rest for tomorrow.

The fit on this thing is so precise it's ridiculous and the finish is outstanding. A huge THANK YOU to Alan @ZeroFox and crew for amazing support and responsive customer service!

Sometimes, it’s the little things.

There’s a light texture to the powder coat so I broke out the heat gun to get them on there well and more easily. Just a few callout stickers...not too many.

Today was productive in many ways. After the front bumper upgrade I finally installed the lights I wanted. Let me preface this by saying I’m a guy that focuses on things that get the job done, not on too much eye candy. Still waiting for my Method 704 titanium wheels but they will be too late for Death Valley and, to be honest I doubt I will need them there. I did however install my Baja Designs Squadron Pro amber lights as well as my rigid 110313 10” light bar on a custom mount under the brush bar. All lights are attached using a common mount point for simplicity. I now need to wire them into my auxiliary switches and I’m set to provide a few more pics of the final outcome....for now!
