What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

After adding the Metal Cloak DEF tank guard I received and installed the much anticipated Rock Hard 4X4 aluminum mid-width front winch bumper. At a weighed 37 pounds it was easy to pick up and great to install. My Smittybuilt 9500 winch was a tight fit but fit it did.

How long did it take to receive your bumper? I ordered the same one six weeks ago and am still waiting (impatiently)

Small things this week. Flag decal, hood locks, lock caps and wheel brake lights plus raised my 3rd brake light to allow my 35" KO2's that getting installed Saturday.

Swapped out the rear bumper and tinkered with a small electrical project. Rigid radiance back lit pods.
wired up to an AUX switch, but also set a trigger from the reverse lights (with a diode) to activate the main beam when in reverse; then wired the brake light (not tail) to the back lighting
Video shows: Reverse, Brake (hard to see) Flashers/hazards; Aux switch; Reverse again.

Only thing I need to work out is the flasher since I ran trigger wires from the right tail light only into a main harness to both PODs they only flash with the passenger turn signals. Project for another day.

Bestop Sunrider came in today... I decided on Black diamond because I am in the mud at least once a week, and it will only be a 3 season top. I really like it. The quality is much better than I expected. @Bestop

propane tank, step 1...

Did you paint the tank? I have heard that many refill stations won't refill a tank that has been painted. Not sure if it is true... do you know anything about that? Just curious...

I purchased and test fit an adjustable ball mount.

The standard 2" drop on my existing draw bar, a carryover from the Jeep's predecessor, causes the front end of the motorcycle trailer to sit too high (it's a bit worse than what the photo suggests.)

The adjustable mount was the last one in stock, and has obvious shelf wear. I plan to sand and spray it with a decent satin black enamel.

Hiiii everyone!!

So my wife and I, we got our Jeep one month ago, it’s our first one, with this said please bear with me...

We have our stock headlights and we want to change them for white halos or the color ones, the same with the fog lights... so I have several questions:

1. do We have to buy a tazer to change the lights? We don’t have clear for what we should buy a tazer.
2. We have a Sport S 80th anniversary, the size for the headlights are 9inches? And the fog lights 4inches?

If you have recommendations for the headlights will be much appreciated, we saw on amazon the combo of headlights and fog lights but for JK’s I would love to find a combo for the JL.
