Taping was easy. Taking the tape off was the challenge. A few spots wanted to peel with, so go slow. I used 3 cans to put it on there thick.Looks awesome! I am planning to do the same. Any tips in how you tape off the white surroundings?
I want to see pics of that. Maybe the twisting is a good thing?? If there is that much flexing past the limits of the TRE’s rotation, I would rather it rotate at the threads instead of snapping a TRE.Some users have reported that those pinch bolt adjusters on the Synergy arms are twisting at the ends under heavy offroad use, I'm not surprised as I have to readjust my steering wheel center after hard wheeling trips because the Synergy track bar does the same and requires frequent adjustment. Just some things to think about.
Teraflex mount looks good.I installed the Teraflex HD Adjustable Spare Tire Carrier and Rugged Ridge Window Visors on Saturday. Today I installed a Fishbone Mako Rear Bumper and Rugged Ridge License Plate Relocation kit. Everything installing pretty easily.
Thanks. I like it and it was a simple install.Teraflex mount looks good.
Never had a chance to even get it offroad. Just some clearance checking with a forklift a couple times, and the threaded bushings were loose and causing a sloppy ride and handling. Another retightening or two and the slit in the arm at the pinch bolt would be fully collapsed.I want to see pics of that. Maybe the twisting is a good thing?? My new Metalcloak arms feel far better than when the Synergy's were brand new.
