Finally got the 3 inch bds lift installed! Tires are C rated grabber x3s on 17 inch raceline shift wheels. Picture does not do justice. It looks better than i could have imagined!

Added a Mopar twill soft top. Thought I wanted a Besttop branded one, but they don't make one for a 2 door JL under their brand that isn't a fastback. I know they make the Mopar one. I'm glad I didn't compromise on a fastback version. The Mopar one is awesome. Lots of options, including sunrider and safari/bikini. No zippers and only 2 very small patches of velcro. Relatively quiet. Looks great.

New wheels/tires!

Just bought a new Sahara JL and am looking at different wheel/tire combos. Prefer not to lift. I’m leaning toward 20” wheels with 33” tires. Can you tell me what you have? This is one my favorites I’ve seen.

Jeep is currently in the shop getting regeared! Yukon 4.88s! Also getting my AAL front inners, Metalcloak control arms, Metalcloak tire carrier, and Apex quick release valve stems installed as well. More pics to follow once I get the Jeep back tomorrow !

Looks great. I'm thinking on the twill top myself. I miss having a soft top every spring and fall.

It finally warmed up enough to do some wiring, so I finally got to test out my 3D-printed pre-runner LED mounts. I like the look and practicality of these lights, but I did not want to cut or trim my grille to install them. There are some LEDs are small enough to fit through the grille, but not this high up -- the horns are directly behind the outer LEDs and there's no room for anything else.

The mounts are made of PETG and clip into the top of the stock grille, including a special version that fits above the opening for the BOLT hood lock. I also zip-tied the LED wires to the grille behind the mount to help make sure they don't get knocked out.

I'm happy with my design so far. If anyone else has experience 3D-printing PETG, you can download the design on Thingiverse.

Went looking around underneath my jeep today to find a bolt just hanging out between the exhaust and the mount. It’s wedged in there pretty well. Can’t get it out. Going to have a dealer take a look and see what’s up. I’m wondering where did it come from.
