Today I finally got around to installing a new Warn Zeon Premium winch with a Rusty’s Winch plate. Other than the reinstallation of the nuts for the inboard bumper mounting bolts, the installation was a cinch.

BTW, if you use this winch plate, plan on using both deep and shallow 18mm sockets. You’ll also need perhaps two 3in and one 8in extension to get those nuts back on. You’ll also do well to tape the bolt so it stays in the socket for mounting. I found getting the nuts started went really fast when doing that. Some masking tape does the trick just fine..

Up next will be a 2.5” lift and either 35s or 37s. I still haven’t decided on tire size or the lift kit but I’m looking at Rock Krawlers XFactor lift or Clayton Offroads Overland kit. The decision on tires will probably be based on whether or not I’m interested in regearing.

Finally able to use the Morrflate system! Worked great and easy airing up and down all four tires at once.
I like these things but they always look to be so bulky and something that would just be a giant tangled mess take up way too much space in my 2 door. Do you have any tips/tricks on keeping it clean and tidy when not in use?

They roll up pretty small into a case. I put them between my roll cage and hard top when the top is on.

You used my favorite link on me. That is just plan cruel. However, I tried that. If Jeep gave me a update number or something it wouldn't have been so fruitless of a search.

Yeah...im a JT step-brother... but good couple days.
-stubby because i bent my stocky
-3/4“ rear spacers
- @Clayton Off Road rear sway links
-half kit if sound assassins
- @Armorlite Kail flooring.

this mixed with the sound assassin and headlinet has dramatically increased on road comfort by reducing sound fatigue.

I know what I'm getting for my birthday in August. That Armorlite flooring is just what I need. I didn't even know it existed. My carpet is beyond ruined.

FWIW, I wasn't previously aware of over-the-air updates until you mentioned it. So, I did carefully read the page that I linked you to, before sharing the lmgtfy post.

Minor mods today. Add a seat track mounted flash light holder & a MOPAR locking fuel cap.

Got a few more small items on the way this week. If they all get here tomorrow as indicated then I'll have a extendable dash mount for a phone or cuppa joe, a rollbar mounted hi-lift jack attachment point & a rear cargo mats.

I'm thinking new tires next week make sense. The Firestone Destination MT/2 tires don't make sense for the terrain I'll be traversing.

Finally installed my metal cloak disconnects. Theyre too long though. Taking them tomorrow to cut them down and re thread so i can keep sway bar engagement the way i want it to feel on road.

And also.....dont judge me.

Today was adding cheap cube lights. I added the brackets last week, but I needed to add a pigtail to the lights because the leads were very short. I've run out of time, so they're not wired in right now. I'd also like to get a shorter bolt to make it look cleaner.

I believe that is a fine idea, but if I'm taking off the bolts to cut them (I don't trust myself to cut them while installed), I can replace them with $2 worth of new hardware.
